    We were extremely disappointed with the food. We started with the crab/fish cakes. They were just ok. Nothing special. I had the halibut. I thought is was great. My son had the braised ribs with grits and did not like it at all. When the waitress took it back to the kitchen, she said that the staff all agreed that it smelled off. She comped the ribs for us. For dessert, my son has the cheese cake. It was delicious. My carrot cake did not have much flavor. It didn’t seem very fresh. All of the dishes looked fantastic, but most were a bit let down.

    We had the 8oz filet mignon and the 12oz zabuton. The zabuton was good but the filet mignon had both a better flavor and texture. I would highly recommend the poached asparagus as a shareable, it has an incredible sauce.

    A wonderful choice for dinner on our 57th anniversary. Great atmosphere and fairly quiet. We both chose the three-course Sunday dinner. My zabuton steak was just okay. The meat was a little on the tough side, and it was definitely on the rare side of medium rare (our waitress did offer to send it back to the kitchen). I should have ordered the halibut entree like my wife did; then I could have rated everything five stars. The halibut was wonderful. Our waitress, Alecia, was excellent.

    Too expensive for two people. I’m not a cheap person but for what I paid for, I was expecting more food than just a 70 dollar steak with no sides. I won’t be back to this restaurant unfortunately.
