"The food was good but the service was terrible. The server rushed us through our meal as if he was trying to turn the table over quickly however the restaurant was basically empty and we were the only people in his section. We were in and out of there in less than an hour. Not what I expected from this place since the previous time I had been there was a terrific experience. I will likely not go again simply because we were treated so poorly."

"We eat out a lot in the Sacramento area and we're probably a bit of foodies snobs.). Spataro's hadn't been on radar screen and so it was a long while since visits. After our meal, my wife and I were extremely surprised. We either didn't remember the food being as good as last time or they have upped their game. If one were creating a "Top 10" restaurant in Sacramento, it would be had pressed to leave off Spataro's (based on our recent experience)."

"The passionista was fabulous and the food very delicious. We were attending an event at the community center and we could have been in and out in 45 minutes. However, we stretched it into coffee and dessert and it was well worth it. Didn't feel rushed at all by staff.

Excellent prices for the locale, staff, setting, and food!"

"Fourth time we've eaten here. It's been a few years since our last time. Thought we'd give it another chance. We won't be eating here again. The service was inconsistent and spotty. The floor manager seemed to be the one tying up the loose ends the waiter left. The carbonara pasta tasted store bought. The lasagna was nothing special either. We should've heeded other reviews, but now we know. It's too bad. So few good places to eat."

"Very nice place, great service. Excellent pasta. I had the steak that was on special that night and it was not that good. Steak kind of tough and not very tasty. My husbands pasta was delicious!!"
