"The Food was delicious. We were there for a party of 14 but the service was still impeccable. We decided to eat familiy style and everything was spot on. The gnochhi was fresh, the mushroom bruchetta was delicious and the beef carpaccio was the best I have ever had. The beef satay was surprisingly flavorful all the pasta dishes were served al dente and piping hot. The owner Marco is extremely accomodating and willing to make sure that the dining experience is perfect. He even got behind the bar to make a special birthday shot for the party. Try it out. You can thank me later."

"Went for the small plates and appetizers. Food was really good, there isn't a lot to choose from though. There isn't a lot of places to choose from for tapas on the peninsula. Enjoyed my night there, will go back, but it wasn't anything spectacular."

"The ravioli wasn't very good. The filling inside the ravioli was dry and undercooked. Also, the peas were not a fitting addition to the sauce. The only thing I enjoyed about the dish was the sundried tomatoes."

"The decor was outdated and the booth seats needed to be redone. The salad was overdressed and pasta greasy. Halibut ravioli, the fish tasted past it's prime. Won't be going back."

"Have been to Spasso several times, but it has been a while since our last visit. Service was rushed and food was OK. My wife's food was cold. Noise level was energetic. Maybe some time before our return, if at all."

"We had a reservation for 7 pm and were not seated till 7:40pm. There were at least 2 other parties that waited as long as we did. While they did comp us a couple appetizers and after dinner drinks, they way way underestimated their turnover rate. I would not go again unless I knew for sure that my reservation time could be honored. It is a shame since their food and service are very good other than scheduling."

"Maybe my expectations were set high after hearing all the great buzz on Spasso. Needless to say, I left disappointed. We arrived a few minutes late, only to wait for our table to be set. The place was packed and extremely noisy. I could barely hear my husband from across the table. The food was good, but not as fantastic as I had heard. Finally, the service was mediocre at best. I can go to three other Italian restuarants on Laurel Street and feel like I am the most important customer. At Spasso, I felt like I was just another diner with a credit card."
