SpaltiMy favorite Italian restaurantSpalti continues to be my favorite Italian restaurant in the Bay Area. Great food, great service. I eat there regularly (3-4 times per month) with family and work. They also have a great private dining room that seats 20-- great for work dinners. I'm a vegetarian, and they have great gnocchi. My family enjoy their chicken and seafood dishes. My son loves their linguini vongole, pasta with prawns, and crab ravioli.
Great location in midtown Palo Alto, not as crowded as downtown PA. Desserts wonderful also if you still have room for them. Hosts and staff very gracious and helpful. It was good then but amazing now. The food was creative, updated and truly gourmet, the waiter, Nikko, spoke to us in Italian, and we had a wonderful time.
