Diner Reviews
  • "From the moment you enter the front door, which is actually open into the Caesar's Palace Forum Shops, you are welcomed, treated like royalty and every aspect of the service from that point forward is friendly and impeccable. And of course the food is excellent from a simple lettuce wedge to the fanciest entrée on the menu."

  • "The tree times being at Spago last week has been a pleasure as always - even this time the Alsatian cuisine wasn't on the menus list. All what we were able to enjoy while eating and drinking was outstanding!"

  • "Loved the experience. I eat here from time-to-time and it never disappoints"

  • "We always get the Chinese Chinois Salad... best salad in Las Vegas"

  • "Excellent food , service was not as good as last year but still good. Ambience and overall experience was great."

  • "I have been coming to Spago, Las Vegas for years. Every time I come to Vegas I try at least one or two other top notch restaurants. Spago is still on my must dine list. The wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The menu imaginative and yet evocative of its own history. The food was beautifully prepared; the octopus was perfectly done. The Chef visited our table personally as he did with virtually the entire restaurant. We even had a celebrity sighting. In these days of expensive Las Vegas dining, Spago is reasonable by comparison. Spago never disappoints, and as it did this time, usually exceeds expectations."

  • "Interesting, unique choices ... Great quality , not outstanding on some entrees. Appetizers and 2nd courses were awesome!"

  • "The food is outstanding and the service is excellent. The noise level is very high if you dine "al fresco"."

  • "This was my 2nd time eating here. Both times were for lunch. The pizzas are the best ! I will definitely come back."

  • "I have been visiting Spago every Vegas trip I've taken for the last 6 or 7 years. They have never disappointed, they continue to exceed my expectations. The new manager Brian is fantastic. Our server Mikel was great. And chef Erik is above and beyond a gifted artist and a humble person. The drinks and food are always on par and represent what you should get in a dining out experience."

  • "Fine dining at the back was superb. Tartar was prepared at the table and was one of the best we have ever had. Beef special was perfectly prepared and presentation wonderful (and there was no shortage in quantity). Have forgotten the waiters name (a slight build fellow) but a true professional…knew when we needed something but never hovered or overbearing. Thank you to staff at Sago Las Vegas….you made our night"

  • "Spago, as always, lives up to it's reputation, great service, great food, incredible environment."

  • "Fine dining is easy to find in Las Vegas, but for excellent service and secluded pockets to dine, Spago - Las Vegas is perfect."

  • "Spago's is still the place to go in Vegas for a great meal. So many restaurants in Vegas are dissapointing, this one will not dissapoint you. For fine dining sit inside. Fine dining Menu is different and memorable. A little pricey but worth it. The dessert menu was dissapointing. We sat inside, did not try the casual patio menu."

  • "Food was excellent. Our two servers were attentive and present when we needed them. They made good recommendations on both food and wine."

  • "I have been here many times before. This was my first stop taking a friend to lunch. Menu has changed a bit and I was very sorry to see the Chinois Chicken Salad off the menu and they will not make it if asked. Food was still good but with so much in Vegas I will go here from time to time but not as good as it used to be."

  • "We went here for our anniversary, and Spago's staff went far beyond to make it a wonderful and memorable evening for us. All of the service was spectacular. Our server, Tony, was particularly knowledgable about the food and wine. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing, and we were far from disappointed. The food and wine were an epicurean's wet dream."

  • "Our group stopped at Spago for lunch on our last day in Las Vegas. The food was delicious - Thai beef salad had a terrific combination of flavored, and the portion size was just right for lunch; flatbread pizzas were perfect as always; cocktails were mixed just right. In addition our server was outstanding - attentive but not at all intrusive; entirely focused on giving us a good experience. I'd recommend Spago highly to anyone who visits Las Vegas."

  • "Spago is an old favorite I had not visited for years. On this trip to Vegas we decided to go back. We were very glad we did. The menu was fresh and creative. The service was fabulous. We won't wait as long to visit again next time."

  • "We loved our meal. The chef came out twice to the table and made excellent recommendations. We did ask for a quiet table and that was a good thing. The front area is noisy but the back area was fine. Overall great experience and we will go back when we return to Vegas!"

  • "If you are going to eat at Spago make sure you make reservations and side inside. This is the fine dining section and prices are high but you will remember everything about your meal because the food is amazing. I visited twice in the course of about a week and sampled the Arugula Salad and the Octopus for apps and had the Tuna and Dover Sole (a special) as my main courses. The food was amazing both visits and the service from Tony (ask for him) was perfect. Pricey but worth it for a special night out."

  • "We were given a choice of fine dining or normal. Normal seemed rather crowded and had no regrets for choosing fine dining. The fine dining was towards the rear of the restaurant and was more private but still with great ambience. We needed one vegetarian meal and it turned out to be presented brilliantly as a group of small plates on a single tray. Our remaining mains were extremely well presented, colourful and fresh. Pricing seemed reasonable also for such a high standard. Service was also very attentive without being stuffy. A great find in all."

  • "We were in cafe section but server allowed us to order from dining room menu. Food was good, appreciated the service."

  • "Too noisy. Food served missing listed key ingredients, resulting in tasteless entree. When we pointed this out we were brought a side dish of one of the items. Not acceptable. Wait staff asked if we wanted to order something else which turned out much better but received no apology and was charged for the replacement dish at the hight cost. Spago is riding on it's undeserved laurels. Shame on you, Wolfgang."

  • "My family is not an adventuresome family when it comes to food. Instead of ordering from the fine dining menu, we were allowed to order from the cafe menu. My adult kids and my husband were happy with the new menu and the food they ordered."

  • "for me and/or my husband and our friends or business associates. I found this gem several years back walk through the Caesar's Shops from Harrah's to go see a show at Caesar's. Fabulous is the food, the service, the BREAD! You can sit out in a sort of "patio" area to people watch or inside."

  • "Bad service and ridiculously over priced. A cup of dandelion weeds, aka Arugala shouldnt cost $15.00. Nor should 4 TINY bites of sushi run $22.00. That kind of money-grab just gets to me. Spago in Las Vegas; I get it - it's going to cost me. But this was about 25%-35% over the top as far as cost goes for what you get.. A family style serving of sides is not what you would get at an expensive steakhouse - it was a single serving at best. And, about 50% more $$. The food, what there was did taste good, but with all the competition in that town, I will not be back."

  • "We ate here on a Sunday night. The front patio was bustling, but the dining room was mostly empty. Our food was excellent - the octopus was a particularly delicious. In fact the food was pretty much flawless, there is little to say about beyond that. The service was excellent as well, our waiter was very quick and attentive. It was a bit sad to see how empty the place was, but it was an excellent experience. Highly recommended!"

  • "We went in Jan and the food and service were both very good, no complaints and way better than average which I wish was the case with more restaurants. My only disappointment was they discontinued their tasting menu which I was REALLY looking forward to. When I went here in Sept 2013 they had a 6 course tasting menu for about $100 that was unbelievable. Every course was fantastic which is why I came back with 4 friends. While the food was very good was not the same. They said they may bring the tasting menu back in the future, I would find out if they have it going again, if so this would be a must go and enjoy one of the better meals you will ever have, better than many or the 2 & 3 star places I have been to."

  • "Another great dinner - the lobster starter and the scallop entree were both delicious. We always enjoy our meal at Spago. Great experience - and worth a walk from Vadara to Ceasers in the rain (yes it rained in Las Vegas,). The service was excellent. There are two areas to the restaurant. There is a cafe on the Ceaser's promenade With a more casual menu and then inside dining area (divided by a bar area) is an upscale dining menu. Both options are very good..... Check out both menus online or at the front desk - it's good to have a reservation for a guaranteed table, but I saw walk-ins being seated."

  • "Had a wonderful, complex dinner. The ambiance was perfect, the cocktails were excellent as was the food, of course. The wait staff was very attentive and pleasant. All in all the experience was worth every dime and I would definitely go back."

  • "Overall our group was disappointed with our experience. The service was slow and I had to flag our waitress down several times. The steak tartare was served with only 4 toast points, we had to ask twice for additional ones to finish. Each time they only brought 4! The veal was tough and extremely salty. I did not care for the choice of sides with my veal either. My girlfriend's duck was bland and tough, and again a poor choice of side dishes in my opinion. Every one was so disappointed with their entrees that we didn't care much for dessert. I would go elsewhere if we had the chance."

  • "Totally unacceptable that when you are sited in the back room they give you a much more expansive diner menu than the one they serve on the patio. Would have been fine if they had let us know BEFORE giving us a table in the back but they only give you the wine menu and ONCE you order the wine, they bring you the diner menu. How dishonest is that??"

  • "I took my wife here because I have eaten here before on a business trip. I got the lamb saddle, and it was awesome! My wife had the roast chicken, and she enjoyed it as well. It was the day after Valentine's day, and the place was not too busy. It's not the most romantic place because it can get loud with larger tables around you. There are many tables that would have been more romantic because of there location, we just got one in the middle. The service was excellent. I would enjoy eating here again. It's a little pricey for my wife and I, we spent $200 with tip. We had one appetizer, shared a bottle of wine, and had two entrees."
