  • "I had a great time. Best mixed drinks. Lovely staff. Perfect place for two. Wait time wa sless than I expected."

  • "Fantastic 6 course tasting menu gave us a true picture of Spago's best cuisine. Recommend asking to sit outside in the courtyard."

  • "My first visit to Spago was the year it first opened. Had not been back since then. Still fabulous, but modern, vibrant & what is still the same, is the commitment to great food. Puck continues to get it right. Service was really good. Couldn't decide what wine to get, no problem. The waiter brought a bit of both. His recommendation turned out to be exactly what we had discussed. Food was truly excellent Will definitely make it a must stop every time I'm in LA."

  • "Spago is my favorite restaurant in LA. I brought a friend from out of town & she loved it. A must have are the spicy tuna cones. They are sweet, crunchy & spicy at the same time. Terrence, the sommelier was very informative & didn't make you feel like you are asking dumb questions & he pointed us in the right direction for our wine selection. We had a beautiful in season heirloom tomato salad with burrata. Chicken boring? Not here, it's juicy & fresh. We had some kind of flakey dessert. It was good but i liked the strawberry sorbet they served with it better than the dessert. The service is impeccible. From the friendly hostess to the servers to the busboys, they were all helpful & polite. They know what good service is."

  • "Some of the best attentive service of our dining experiences in the US, yet the staff were approachable and friendly. The wine list was impressive and the prices refreshing. The food was amazing, not too large. Would recommend and will go again!"

  • "We decided to dine here with some out of town family and it was a mistake. The snippy waiter told my well behaved daughters and the rest of our group not to place their water glasses anywhere near the oversized menus. Sure enough the water glasses spilled like dominoes all over the table- karma. Oh, and we had to wait ten minutes just for water to arrive on our table! My sister who joined us for a drink owns a Beverly Hills PR Firm and she was in dismay by our waiters attitude towards us. The waiter definitely made her not feel welcomed to join us just for a drink. When the waiter asked for the fourth time about the length of time she placed to join us, my sister replied she would be leaving soon and the waiter replied, good- unbelievable"

  • "Steep pricing but excellent food. This is a really good " gourmet" type restaurant. It is worth it."

  • "Our family splurged and celebrated our son's 16th birthday at Spago's. Great dining experience with fabulous food and the best service we've ever had. The caviar and soft-shell tempura appetizers were wonderful, as well as truffle pizza. Entrees were good but could have used more seasoning on salmon and halibut. It was a pricey meal for our family, but worth it."

  • "After living here for 7 years we finally got around to trying Spago. It di not disappoint, in fact it was the best meal we've had since moving fron New York. From what I gather, the celebrity years are over at Spago, but maybe that's a good thing since the service is great for everyone dining there. The menu was interesting in its scope and use of ingredients. Every course was wonderful, especially the Peach soufle for dessert ! It's a splurge for sure, but worth it for that special occasion."

  • "A wonderful evening for my wife's birthday. Food was great and Tim, our waiter, provided excellent friendly service."
    Dined on 7/20/2014
  • "Lovely dinner at Spago's with excellent service. Food portions are quite small for the money but this is quite usual for California. Oysters were to die for and the bone in ribeye for two was outstanding. Would definitely recommend going there and have your wallet loaded..."

  • "I treated my brother and sister - in - law to dinner. This was my first time at the restaurant. The food was lovely and the service was outstanding. I look forward to going again."

  • "Food was very good, patio very pleasent, but lunch service was slow, mismanaged and our actual order was not deleivered as we were told. When we placed our order we were sharing several dishes and the restaurant offered to split two dishes and then serve a couple of starters together. This was ignored and not managed with our server acknowledging the issues, but not offering to do anything. I expect above the average service at this restaurant. Disappointing.... but we made the best of it and had a nice meal."

  • "I ordered a sushi appetizer and the Cuban pork sandwich. The only item that was edible in the salad was the sushi and it was just ok...not as fresh as at a sushi bar. The pork sandwich was way too salty. The only reason I didn't send either item back was because it was my daughter's birthday and I didn't want to make our lunch uncomfortable. The cookies I had for dessert were ordinary. None of the food was worth the prices that were charged. On a good note, I had a great glass of Rhone wine and the service was excellent."

  • "So much personalized attention...made us feel like regulars even though we were from New York...burger is amazing"

  • "These days lunch at Spago is just not worth the expense, and the "new" decor continues to amaze with it's bleakness. I loved Spago for years and years--now it is a sad disappointment. Some of the portions are hysterically small, but a few of the flavors can still dazzle."

  • "This was our first time to Spago and wow the food and service are both equally impressive. The ricotta gnocchi with veal ragout and the truffle tagliatelle is simply amazing, accross the board everything we had was awesome, we will definitely return to Spago on our next trip to Los Angeles"

  • "Outstanding food. Nice decor and ambience. Service was a tad slow. Once room filled, noise level was distracting. Had to raise our voices to hear each other. We were party of 4 in middle of room."
    Dined on 7/15/2014
  • "I was looking forward to my first dinner at Spago. The staff was friendly and informal, but also polished and professional. The pastas were excellent. The crab cake in lobster bisque was good, but not exceptional."
    Dined on 7/14/2014
  • "After a lackluster meal at Spago in Las Vegas a couple of years ago, we shied away from trying the original (well, recently moved) L.A. location. We finally tried it today for lunch, and it lived up to the hype. The staff was uniformly friendly and professional, every morsel of food was delicious and prepared perfectly, the wine list is encyclopedic, and the decor is upscale but not stuffy. It was truly an outstanding meal, and we can't wait to go back!"

  • "I was so looking forward to taking my out of town guests for a terrific lunch and chose Spago. I am a huge fan of all Puck restaurants and had an amazing dinner at Spago not too long ago. Imagine my disappointment and embarrassment at the blandness and utter lack of care for the food they are serving. How hard is it to at least make a fabulous dressing for an expensive lobster salad (I think $38.00) with very little lobster? What are they doing to the egg? How hard is it to make a fluffy French omelet when you are charging over $25.00? At the very least create potatoes that are less boring than the fork you're eating them with. My out of town guests each had the lamb special. While it tasted "good" each of the three chops was not very big"

  • "We made a reservation via Open Table. Unfortunately we were late due to traffic. We called the restaurant and when we arrived, they got us right in. Our waiter was funny, friendly and attentive. The food, as always, was terrific."

  • "The menu was far better in when Wolfgang had his wiener schnitzel on the menu. The food seems overly complicated, and the menu doesn't change much seasonally. Great to see a new Wine Director who is not all about Burgundy. The list is greatly improved which at least makes the dining more pleasurable. Service was good not great, food good not great, wine great."

  • "The food is so good. The service is so good. The Ambience is so good. I like all of them. No.1, no.2, no.3 they are all good. Especially, the rib-eye steak is awesome."

  • "I have never felt so welcomed at a dining experience, by waiters and manager alike. The food, service and overall experience were just amazing. Side note, the cocktails were to die for."
    Dined on 7/5/2014
  • "Had an amazing dinner after a several year hiatus from Spago and its prior location. The veal chop was exquisite, the burata caprese salad vibrant and complex. The malbec by the glass was an excellent pairing for the lamb. Fun and exciting dining experience."

  • "Settled for noon lunch on Saturday after 4th of July as Sunday was fully booked but, perfect timing as it was not initially crowded and didn't feel rushed. Recommendation is to get an inside table for lunch as 90% of the people who were initially seated under the umbrellas came inside after a few minutes. Oysters were great starter and main courses of Truffle Pasta and fresh fish mains were fantastic."

  • "From the moment you walked in the door, the ambiance and the staff made you feel so comfortable, starting with the speciality cocktails...We were seated immediately, and we were ready for a wonderful dining experience. The veal chop, supberb, along with the delicious garden vegetables, served on a bed of cous cous. The bread basket, the best, served with seaweed butter. The wine list is absolutely unbelievable. You could not ask for a better dining experience."

  • "My wife and I enjoyed Spago's immensely. While visiting the West Coast for our anniversary, we chose this spot because of the reputation and location. We were not disappointed on either."
    Dined on 6/30/2014
  • "If you don't mind paying big bucks for mediocre food and service, with a worn-looking ambiance and minimal portions not suitable for hefty appetites, head to Spago's. Its supposedly famed Wiener Schnitzel is but a shadow of the real thing served in Vienna, with a hefty $46 price tag. Similarly rated Providence provides a multitude of "extras" between courses and exquisite presentation, as opposed to the mundane dishes that we experienced. Inconsistent service, e.g. other tables had bread service throughout the evening, while we languished with only one at the beginning of the meal, and water glasses were never replenished. My advice: pick another dining locale."

  • "I brought 4 friends from out of town, and they loved the Spago experience. The food was really wonderful, they had many cocktails and most of all they felt very comfortable in one of the best restaurants in town because of the staff. Our server, Mimi was really lovely. She helped with menu selections, answered questions, and did everything with a gracious flair. We really thought she was fantastic. The manager came by and was also very friendly. The bar was less spectacular, mostly because we had to beg to be served. With two groups sitting at the bar, and two bartenders working, you'd think one would attend to the customers in front of them and leave the drink orders as a 2nd priority. cest la vie.... definitely worthwhile dining!"

  • "When you are paying the amount that Spago charges for pretty basic food, you at least expect a really high level of service. Unfortunately, the staff was inattentive from the beginning of the meal to the end. The food was ok, but you can find better for half the price."
    Dined on 6/28/2014
  • "Excellent Service and a hot spot that never dies down"

  • "One of the best meals we've ever eaten. My son ordered the duck which was quite the presentation when they brought it to the table, head and all. They brought it back to the kitchen to finish preparing and then served it table side with all sorts of condiments and a tasty sauce which was phenomenal. Our server was super friendly and helpful which added to a memorable evening. Their new decor is very stylish and understated which is saying a lot in Beverly Hills. Very well done! Spago sets the bar for amazing food, decor, and service!!"

  • "For an Anniversary dinner at one of the finest restaurants in Beverly Hills we expected an experience however what we got was a nice meal and reasonably good service. We could not believe how many staff there were and it was constant not stop distracting foot traffic all over the restaurant. I didn't expect to have to ask for napkins after our "amuse Boche" were delivered, nor did I expect to have to ask for the desert menu when we thought our waitress had forgotten. We did enjoy the fact that our booking through opentable with a reference to it being a wedding anniversary celebration was noted by the restaurant with candles on our deserts."

  • "We went for lunch for an anniversary and we're looking forward to a relaxed lunch. The waiter had too many tables and I did not receive the attention I deserved, although he tried, I felt rushed to place the order."

  • "Amazing food & amazing service. I had the endive salad, braised beef and the cherry cremeux. The walnuts in the endive salad with the lemon-vinaigrette sauce was really tasty. The braised beef was cooked to perfection! The cherry cremeux was indeed very sweet, but it was still pretty good. I also got to try some of the veal chops and they were also delicious. I could not choose a favourite dish since they were all so good. The waiters/servers were extremely polite and the valet was helpful. I would definitely come again the next time I visit LA. Highly recommend."

  • "Great restaurant, great people, unassuming and, oh yes, the food was excellent. Wolfgang personally visited every table while we were there. It was a very special evening."

  • "Celebrating, we choose the 8 course California tasting menu for the whole table at $145.00 per person. It was a wonderful 3 hour 45 minute tasting journey we will never forget. We decided not to order the wine pairing but ordered several bottles from an amazing wine list. A somelier was happy to discuss taste profiles and suggest bottles in our budget. Wolfgang Puck came by our table to shake hands. A glorious evening at a one of the communities best restaurants."
