Started with the Ahi Tower appetizer which was fantastic, my mother is not an adventurous person when it comes to food and this was only her 2nd time trying raw fish(sushi grade) and she loved it. Entrees were rack of lamb and the horseradish halibut. Both were very good, my lamb was cooked perfectly (medium rare) as requested. Sides were good but nothing spectacular. Finished the evening with a white chocolate cheesecake with fresh berries accompanied with a blackberry and guava sauce. Guava sauce was a bit tart for me but the cheesecake was amazing.
Wait staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful providing opinions. From the service to the meal and even though we did not purchase the ticket to be seated in the area with the live entertainment, we were able to hear and enjoy the music. This was my first time at Spaghettini's and I will definitely be back. The service was outstanding, never lacking. The food choices for Sunday brunch were great. We weren't in the main area with the band but could hear them. I wish I could come here more often but the price is a little high for casual dining. But you pay what you get for. Their menue has changed over the years and I've yet to find a dish I do not like. I always enjoy their meat dishes vs their pastas. Grilled pork chop was excellent but did have to send it back to cook it a bit more. Both the server and manager expressed their sincere apologies and the manager brought us dessert (strawberries over shortbread...fabulous) on the house. The Sea Bass entrée was delicious—perfectly cooked. Diverse buffet selection--overall very good; we enjoyed the ahi tuna. Dessert table had chocolate covered strawberries, pot de chocolat, cakes, cookies and more—they bring out different items throughout the day. We had mimosas (Chateau Ste. Michelle). Sat in the dining area where the buffet is…great location close to the food but far enough from the live band and 94.7 FM The Wave's live broadcast that we could easily hear/enjoy the music but could still carry on a conversation. Service was good but waiter could have stopped by more often--restaurant was packed. We arrived 20 minutes earlier but were seated immediately. No sooner had we been seated, our waiter Kazi took our order for drinks. Mimosa and a Bloody Mary topped with shrimp, olives and celery stick. We both ordered the Seabass and was cooked to perfection. The Busboy made sure our water glasses were always full. Of course, we did sample the extravagent buffet ending with creme brulee. 94.7 The Wave was broadcasting live which was very entertaining & had an ongoing contest for the guests. Well I was one of the winners to see Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. We were a large group and quite boisterous at times. We stayed most of the evening and were not rushed to leave. Food is a bit on the expensive side but worth it.
