  • "I have been to this restaurant probably over a hundred times since it opened in the late 80s. The food is consistent, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the scallops I had this last time. They were overcooked, and were served with only a few greens, no rice or vegetable, and cost $35 for 5 scallops, that's $7 a scallop. The sauce was just basically a butter sauce, which didn't have a lot of flavor.The menu seems to now carry only very pricey items. No ravioli on the menu anymore, other than as an appetizer. There was a time one could get pizza, etc. If the restaurant isn't careful, it might price itself out of existence, which would be a shame."

Finished the night in the lounge listening to the live jazz band. We had the cheesecake and the dessert sampler with a bottle of their chocolate wine,"

  • "Approximately halfway between LA and OC .... my favorite place to meet friends, clients and dates from the "other" county for a very nice evening of fine dining and relaxed visiting. I would like to try the Jazz Club scene some night. It seems to have a great vibe, perhaps for an after dinner show. Usually a small service error or two (our side dish was served after the meal, but we weren't charged) but no serious issues. A dependably solid 4."

  • "I took one of my close friend's and her daughter here for brunch. My friends daughter and I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. We were both disappointed with the entree. My chicken was a little cold and I did not like the flavor. I enjoyed the waffles better than the chicken . My friend's daughter cleared her plate but did not enjoy her food at all.. We both like white meat from the chicken. Next time we will ask before ordering. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the seabass, mash potatoes and veggies.. I tasted her seabass and it was delicious.. Next time I go for dinner or brunch, I'm going to.order the Seabass... We all loved listening to the music from the lounge.. Atmosphere and service was great!!"

  • "I had the cat fish off the main course and my husband and I thought the fish was too salty, when the server came to our table and asked how the food was both my husband and myself said it was to salty, I took 2 bites of mine and couldn't eat anymore and I was waiting for him to say would you like to try something else but he never did, my husband did eat most of his so I guest it wasn't a total wasted, needless to say I left feeling for the price he should have asked m, I didn't eat a lot of the buffet because I was saving myself for the main course other wise everything else was nice."

  • "I took my boyfriend to spaghettini for his birthday. We sat in the dining room (there is live music in the lounge) so that we could have quiet conversations. Each course we had was delicious and we were treated to samples of complementary wine with each course. The seafood was fantastic. The flavors were light, so the natural taste of the food shone through. The real star of the evening was the service. Our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful, but gave us space to enjoy our meal. My boyfriend and I are not wealthy and he has a rather scraggly appearance, but we were treated like vips. We would go back in a heartbeat"

In fact, the wonderful thing about this place is the LOYALTY of the staff! Seriously - a lot of the servers, etc. have been with them for over 20 years...and that truly tells you something about the integrity of the management. Food ... well we wouldn't keep going back if it weren't great as well. Never had a bad meal....a bad wine....a bad anything!"

  • "We were seated at a table where we could see into the kitchen which was fun to watch. The waitress was not paying attention to what we requested. It was most annoying. I asked for a glass of malbec with my dinner and she brought savignon blanc. We asked for vinegar and oil for the caprese salad and had to wait while the rest of our table could eat their first courses. It was not the restaurant's fault. It was hers. Our dinners were served at varous times. She had forgotten one. They need to replace Courtney."

  • "Valentines weekend...expect its a little crazy. Reservation: Came 30 minutes early and told us to come back on the reserved time. Acceptable. But still waited for 20 minutes to be seated. Food: Few choices. Ambience: Elegant Band: Energetic Here comes my BIG PROBLEM, they had charged my Card twice. YES, double from my bill amount is still on hold on my account. I guess someone was IRRESPONSIBLE at the back office and did not care to use the same initial authorization. I have dined at different restaurants and this will be the first time I've experienced this kind of situation."

  • "This was our first dinner at Spaghettini. We had Brunch here a couple of years ago and loved it. Our table was in one of the quiet backrooms. We preferred this to the main dining/bar area. The Chilean Seabass was great. Very romantic setting for Valentines day. There were a lot of couples that must have felt the same. The menu items offered should please almost everyone."

  • "I took my wife here to celebrate her Birthday. I give high marks to our waiter as he provided my wife with a complementary photo to mark the occasion. The service was good. I was a little concerned having heard more than a few comments that the restaurant was resting on it's laurels, having built up a strong reputation and then relaxing the standards. Fortunately that was not the case for our visit, the buffet was plentiful and the food was of the quality expected of a high priced brunch. The entrees were also good, my wife's steak particularly so. My salmon was good, a little more flavorful and I would have said excellent. The truest measure of the meal was my wife's enjoyment. We definitely plan a return."
