At Sou'Wester, Chef de Cuisine Eddie Moran’s cuisine is meant to be approachable and comfortable and takes inspiration from classic American recipes. Everything on our menu is prepared daily with fresh ingredients we source from the farms of the Virginia countryside to the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. The restaurant's comfortable dining room offers views of the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial.

The menu reads with a Southern lilt and features traditional as well as interpretive takes on American classics such as Sweet Potato Soup with Pecan Spoonbread, Chicken and Waffles with Peach Butter, Rappahannock River Oysters and Grilled North Carolina Shrimp and Grits. Our desserts by Top Chef Contestant Chef Matthew Petersen feature classic American favorites such as Vanilla-Lemon Cheesecake, Peanut Butter Bar, Fried Apple Pie A la Mode among other popular selections. An affordable wine selection and All American craft beer list is offered, as well as an original cocktail menu.
