  • "Of our group of 11, it was a return visit for many of us and we will definitely be back. The venue is outstanding with one of the best views in Chelan. A must for lunch after ChelanMan each year! Great service, great food, great wine, great company! See you next year!"

  • "great spot and food. wine service was good, food service was average. We were celebrating special occasion and this was not acknowledged or coordinated. As a former restaurant person, this was a huge missed opportunity for our foursome to be talking about our experience. Now, we will not be doing that."

  • "Hillside setting amidst grape vines; great view of Lake Chelan. The tables with the best view are very hot in the late afternoon sun. The waitress was kind enough to warn us of that so we were seated in the back near the water fountain. Chicken Marsala was delicious. Clam linguini was dry; practically no sauce. Large pieces of onion and not many clams."

  • "Tsillan Cellars Is always a must see when we have out of town guests but now we will add the adjoining Sorrentos to the experience. We had a wonderful server and it's a real plus that the wine charge is no longer separate from the food. We were there on Pasta night and there were lots of choices at a very reasonable price."

  • "Had a great dinner the other night, with all the walls retracted to let the amazing view in. Attentive service and wonderful food. The wine isn't bad either. We'll definitely be back."

  • "I love the fact you can see Lake Chelan from your table or look out over the lush garden with a water feature. The main entree and dessert was good. We were disappointed in the salad presentation, it was in a soup bowl instead on a chilled plate. When our main entree arrived he reached over one guest to deliver another guest plate. There was no reason to do that there was plenty of room to walk around the table. He appeared to be a new waitperson and not well trained. We ordered red and white wine, but everyone got white wine glasses even if they were drinking red wine. The wine steward uncorked the red wine before bringing it to the table and and just poured it into the person's glass with out letting him taste it first."

  • "One of the most beautiful dining spots in the World. The sandwiches for lunch were excellent paired with our salad. The place got very busy the Saturday after the 4th of July and we did have to wait a long time for our bill to come. Great service up to the bill wait. Highly recommend this Italian gem."

  • "Lovely spot on the hillside, great wine from Tsilian cellars, server very nice. Staff seemed stressed and disorganized. Some mistakes with orders. Food was not "fine ding". Food reminded us of airport hotel food. Not terrible but not special. The location is so spectacular, they need a chef with a vision and some training."

  • "As always, we had a great time at Sorrento's Restaurant. The ambience is fantastic - a piece of Italy overlooking Chelan Lake. The views are scenic, the courtyard is without a doubt beautiful. Food is excellent. Wait staff are extremely friendly and attentive. They make one feel like family."

  • "The food was excellent! The service was great-very prompt! Their wines are wonderful! Would recommend this place to anyone!!! Will be going again!!!"

  • "Stunning view. Nice staff. But felt like a fast food place. Rushing, rushing, rushing. Hadn't finished siting down and there is bread on the table. Haven't picked up the menu and being asked what kind of wine we'd like. Same with salad then entree. Likely new staff so maybe they need to be reminded the difference between dining and eating. Then the food. Chopped salad that was nicely presented and pretty good. Pasta night specials- don't go there. Uninspired manicotti and rigatoni. Both served less than hot. Both less than flavorful. Both uneaten leftovers. Limited wine list. But ok. Really wanted to love this place but Karma (down the road) beats them on the menu, wine, and service. Their view isn't bad either. Sorry."

  • "We had the salmon and chicken Marsella. Fish was way under cooked and lacked flavor for being cedar planked Veggies were good. Chicken was on a spungee pound cake? polenta? and was thin and maybe frozen and boiled? Not what I would call chicken. Way too many servers for the type of restaurant. If it wasn't for the view and reasonably flavored wine....(not the price) it was a bust. probably will not be back for a long time. Desert was good. did not feel the food or wine matched the $150 price."

  • "This is not our first time at Sorrento's. We are club members at the winery and come for special occasions. This weekend we came to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday. Everything was absolutely wonderful, delectable, and just plain awesome!! Love your wait people!"

  • "Good food and wine. Unbeatable location with a view overlooking the lake and with beautiful landscaping. Enthusiastic staff."

  • "We had stopped here three years ago and had planned to return as this is our favorite winery. The staff was so good, the ambience a feast for the senses, and the whole evening made for a wonderful 57th anniversary celebration. We had expected a lot, but this exceeded our hopes."

  • "My friend and I were seated at a small table for two that was "wrought iron" with "wrought iron" chairs. Because of the placement of the "wobbly" table we both had to turn our chairs to avoid our knees hitting the center post under the table. I went home with a terrible back ache that ruined the rest of my evening. This is the only reason I'm not interested in returning."

  • "Pretty space but the food was not good at all... Very much like Olive Garden."

  • "I've been here for tasting and am a wine club member- first time for dinner and will return. Loved the choices of entrees. The food was amazing. Servers are friendly- one small issues- a bit too attentive- we felt bombarded between the food server, drink server and various water and table bussers. Perhaps few server individuals per table?"

  • "I dined here with 5 friends during a long weekend in Chelan. The food and service was very good. We were particularly impressed with the sauces. The wine list is limited to the wine from the their own winery, but it was a nice selection. We visited mid-season, so it was very uncrowded. During warmer weather the doors are opened and there is seating outside. The view is lovely of the winery and Lake Chelan. We will visit again."

  • "We enjoy an occasional treat at Sorrento's, because of the great food and wine. As wine club members we get a discount on restaurant charges, which we often forget to mention. Dave, our server provides great attention to detail, and includes the discount even when we forget. It's a repeat for sure."

  • "The best calimari in 45 years of eating it! Unbeatable ambiance and great food."

  • "We like to eat here often and have never been disappointed. The food is great and this winter the M-F happy hour from 5-6 pm is a wonderful addition. Plus the Prime Rib is the best in town, and featured on Mondays and Tuesdays for a fantastic price. Really good, fresh food with a varied menu, friendly staff, and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend."

  • "The food, the service, the ambience,I couldn't have asked for more. The piano playing, the glow of the fire burning and the snow falling outside, what a special evening. This will be a Birthday remembered."

  • "The staff was great but the food wasn't even close to the quality level the prices suggest. Calamari was oily. Our dinners were somewhat cool. The bouillabaisse had so much sauce it was hard to find the fish. When prices top $30 for an entree the food should rank higher than the run of the mill pub."

  • "We had a great time, both ordering the Valentines special (Oysters Rockefeller, salad, filet and lobster, lava cake, with wine, of course!). The food was very good (the only improvement could have been a thicker cut on the filet), and the service was top notch. We also ended up ordering 4 bottles of wine from the on-site winery to go. I think it was special for the occasion, but they also had a very talented 'piano man', that provided just the right music back-drop."

  • "I made reservations for Valentines (+ my wife's birthday) as we were in Chelan for the week. I noted that it was also my wife's birthday. Upon arrival the first response was a Happy Birthday wish to my wife. Then when our waiter arrived after being seated, he too wished my wife a Happy Birthday. The musician on the keyboard (who was completely blind) happened to ask a general question, 'Is anyone celebrating a birthday'? Our waiter, Dave, mentioned that my wife was, so he could tell where my wife was seated. During our dinner the musician chose to have all the restaurant sing Happy Birthday to my wife. A very special touch that I could never repeat in the future. All in all very nice dinner at Sorrento's! Thank you!"

  • "Make your reservations at Sorrento's and then arrive 45 minutes early and wine taste at Tsillan (pronounced Chelan) Cellars. Pick out your favorite wine and purchase a bottle to take with you to dinner. The restaurant is positioned above Lake Chelan, beautiful view all seasons. Oh, and lastly, the menu selection and the meals are fabulous. We dined on Valentine's Day and the keyboard player added a great ambiance."

  • "The food was great and the staff was 5 star. It was a special occasion for us and it felt special. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal with outstanding service. Please come see what a dining experience should be!"

  • "The food does not reccomend itself. The cannelloni I ordered arrived with the melted mozzarella already returning to its natural state, e.g, coagulated. The tomato sauce had the consistency of a recently opened can of tomato paste. The limited wine list is exceeded only by its mediocrity. The gewürztraminer is very dry,not at all fruity and crisp. What a shame. The setting is gorgeous and the wait staff is attentive, but this is not a restaurant I will visit again."

  • "We reserved a table at Sorrento's for our Thanksgiving dinner 2013. We spend several days in Lake Chelan and I can honestly say dinner at Sorrento's was one of the best moment of our trip. First we were impressed by lights they put around the road, so you can't miss their driveway going on 97. It was pretty dark (end of November, right?) but the restaurant was beautifully lit outside. The eating area is very nice, they have holiday arrangements on the tables and we got a table near the fireplace. Turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, some italian appetizers and few glasses of wine. Perfect :) Whole family enjoyed it. We also came back next day for wine testing and couple bottles of wine as well."

  • "Sorrento's was very enjoyable. Everyone (save one person) thought the food was great. The only bug a boo was that the wine had to be ordered via the winery and their person while nice was constantly inquiring about wine needs (until you needed wine). Oddly, then the bills are separate (wine and food) and the wine tab could not be split between bank cards, but had to be divided glass by glass. Additional tax and tip etc."

  • "We chose Sorrento's based on a recommendation from friends, even though we are not pasta people. Our food was delicious but what stood out most was the attention we received. I eat out to be pampered because I am tired of doing all the cooking. The personal attention as well as attention to detail was "right on" without being "in your face".......great experience, great setting and we thank you."

  • "I found the winery charming however, Sorrento's was unorganized, very loud and the food did NOT meet my expectations. I had the Chicken Marsala and my boyfriend had the Clam Linguine. On my plate the fresh squash was cold and crunchy and the side of penne was also cold. The chicken was not breaded and the dish didn't seem to meld together. They topped off the mushroom gravy with large pieces of green onion. It just wasn't what I thought it should be. I was pretty disappointed."

  • "We went for dinner hoping it would be an intimate dinning experience. The noise intensity was way beyond any dinning experience we've previously had. Granted it was a Friday evening and they were full. It was so loud, both us and our waitress could not hear each other. We almost got up to leave, but the wine was good and we had high hopes for a great tasting meal. Alas, the food was mediocre and uninspiring."
