Four of us had a nice meal, nothing great, nothing memorable, except perhaps the bill. There are better restaurants in Boston at that price point. No wonder it was so easy to get a reservations."

The food is fantastic, love the eggplant rollatini to share, the soft polenta with parmesan, the salads. I love everything I've had there. The service is timely, courteous and helpful. Highly unusual. They don't act like they are doing US a favor. I have been there about 15 times and have never been disappointed."

  • " beautiful room, finely appointed with a cordial but not intrusive staff. The menu is varied and good is very good, but could be better. I was told my salmon would be medium rare, but it was more well done. Not over done, but not as moist as I would have liked. A guest had the burrata salad and asked that it be served with arugula as a main course. Unfortunately the got it backwards. The arugula was dumped on the burrata, prosciutto and green strawberry jam. It was not attractive nor since the prosciutto was not cut up most difficult to eat. The scallops were superb, but the halibut was a mite over cooked. The tuna tartare was delicious but served in a bowl placed in a bowl of ice. When the ice melted the bowl was swimming ."

  • "This was our first trip to Sorellina and we truly enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the wait staff was kind, friendly and attentive. We started with the appetizer portion of the fettuccine which was delicious and the perfect size to share. My wife had the lamb chops and I had the ribeye. We both cleaned our plates and were impressed with the food. We finished the evening with the warm chocolate cake which was great. I would definitely recommend Sorellina."

  • "The waiter was great, the food was great and the service was great. But, the hostesses at the front were not. They were all standing at the front looking serious, not friendly and most of all snobby. When you are a hostess, it is your duty to greet your customers with a smile and a welcome to the restaurant greeting. Also, when customers leave, you should at least say have a good night, thank you and if they are smart, they should ask how the service/food was. I understand hiring nice looking hostesses, but they are far from being up to par with the food and the wait staff there. The wait staff is excellent and has good etiquette, but the hostesses need work."

  • "Our recent trip to Sorellina started off on high note- we were seated right on time and graciously welcomed. The soft lighting , soothing colors and ambiance all contributed to a positive first impression. We started off with lobster gnocchi which were "died and gone to heaven" delicious. We literally used bread to capture the last bits of this heavenly sauce-truly outstanding. On the recommendation of a couple sitting nearby,who happen to frequent the restaurant, we ordered Veal Milanese and Veal Saltimbocca. The Veal Milanese was delicious; the Saltimbocca proved to be a huge disappointment. We had never had this dish as prepared - thick pieces of veal wrapped around herbs. It lacked flavor,tenderness and eye appeal. "

By far it was the best place I had been to in the area for Italian food. One thing this place surprised me with was a free car service back to the hotel! I felt like a superstar when leaving the place. We will be back again and it is now on my favorite list of places to eat at. "

Colorado Lamb Chops was cooked and seasoned perfectly and tasted like perfection! Scallops and Spaghetti were spectacular!! Bombolone (Donut holes stuffed with Nutella) was DELISH!!! My taste buds were overwhelmed how good it was! "

A modern feel, not as romantic as a few others. But I have paid much more for food that is nowhere near as good. And location - feet away from the entrance/exit to the Mass Pike - makes it close to almost everywhere."

  • "The mushroom Fettuccine was fantastic. So was the beet salad, soft shell crab and Filet Mignon. Unfortunately, the Halibut lacked any flavor (although the accompanying green vegetables and broth were delicious) and the chicken came to the table tasting like it was prepared as a salt crusted chicken. We notified the staff and were told that another chicken with no salt and sauce on the side would be prepared. We thought it was odd, since there was no sauce on the chicken but the management knows best. Well, the chicken that was served tasteless and there was no "sauce" on the side. Also, the desserts left more than something to be desired. The pistachio torte tasted bland and the biscotti was definitely not double baked. "
