Its a small cool NY modern italian masterpiece. Perhaps the most modern interpretation of italian food I've tasted, but just as delicious as the classics. I had a gnocchi with blue cheese and pear, and it was divine. Its been a week since we ate there, and I'm still dreaming of it. I also really enjoyed the pea / ricotta dish to start.
We were a couple, and we were seated at a table with another couple. They were lovely, so we enjoyed the company - but something others may not be prepared for.
The cocktails were also fabulous.

Ok, this little dive in the middle of no way in NYC (ok, it's Chinatown but what the heck) rocks. Every little details from this amazing chef should be tested Run as fast as you can to this restaurant.

I had been to Sorella's about three years ago and really enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere, especially the bacon brussels sprouts and pretzel ice cream. So I went back, expecting the same experience and got food that was forgettable and the brussels sprouts were inedible. Such a disappointment! Could have been an off night for the chef, who knows. The wine and beer list is good, though.

The ambiance is spectacular. The food ... Meh. Seemed like the cook was
Very heavy handed with the salt. I couldn't taste anything else.
The desert was delicious. Gelato fantastic. And the little doughnuts were amazing.
But over all the portions are small, which I like but the prices were not.
I would only go back here for desert.
