They offer bread laced with olive oil which was so good. They welcomed my children and I was surprised to find that they had coloring books and toys available to distract and please the kids. You wouldn't expect a restaurant that looks this nice and whose food is so good (and fancy) to welcome families, but they do! She knew the menu extremely well and provided excellent service without being intrusive. This restaurant is a real winner. The restaurant was originally affiliated with Sugo's. They have kept some of the signature Sugo dishes and have added their own special touch to others. I like the ambiance at Sophia's better than Sugo's. Our waitress made us feel special -- very attentive without being intrusive. We will certainly become a regular!!5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother Great Dinner at Sophia'sOur party of six was very pleased with the various entrees selected which ranged from the basic -- spaghetti with meatballs (as always delicious), to the wonderful pork braciole, chicken geraci, three meat platter (sausage, meatball and lamb) and the veal chop.
The artichoke pasta and chicken appetizer exceeded our expectation and we could not resist ordering the meatballs for those who were not going to have it part of their entree.
