Went to Sophabella's for a birthday dinner with wife and son and, although an incomplete menu, enjoyed what we were able to eat. The problem Sophabellas had was that it was out of 1st a specific wine, 2nd a specific beer and finally a specific appetizers offered on the menu, all favorites that we returned there to specifically enjoy. How can what is supposed to be an up-scale restaurant run out of 3 different food and drink items offered on its menu on a non-busy weekday night which were specifically part of the decision to go there? I can't say I won't go there again, but I will call to see if they offer a complete menu before I go again - and that's absurd!

The food was delicious, the waiter was WONDERFUL, the service was very prompt and our food came out so FAST, we were surprised! The desert was really good, too! I had the tilapia which had an awesome sauce. My husband had veal parmessian which he said was very good but not quite "outstanding". We had chocolate cake and Kanolis (sp?) which were to die for (the kanolis) !!! We enjoyed it very much and left "stuffed to the gills"!! We'll definitely go back.

I brunched here last Saturday for my birthday. $1 mimosas! We were the ONLY people in the place the majority of the time and I'm not sure why? Good food, friendly staff, stout drinks. What more can you ask for on a Saturday afternoon outing? I've eaten off the brunch, lunch and dinner menus (dinner being the best) and enjoyed it.

I love this place. The food is always great. I finally got to try the prime rib soup (it's not served every day) others have told me about. It was as advertised. The only downside was this time we had to wait a bit for our food. Normally, that's not a big deal, but we were on a schedule. Still, overall, it was a great experience.

The red sauce is fantastic and I really enjoyed the house wine. My husband and I had the cheesy garlic bread and the chicken parm. The garlic bread was delicious and super garlicky. The parm didn't have enough breading and was slightly overcooked. Our server highly recommended the tiramasu, but it was the strangest tirmasu I have ever had. It was a dry layer cake instead of lady fingers. The filling was delicious, but the drizzle of chocolate over the plate tasted like hershey's syrup. There was something else drizzled on the plate- I think it was a marscapone, but it was harshly tangy. The whipped cream on top seemed home made but it was really runny. Overall, great prices for the food, but not the best Italian we've had.

I have always enjoyed Sophabellas for brunch, but if this had been out first visit I probably would not be coming back. Jamie was our server, she was short with us, rude, and clearly didn't enjoy her job. She acted annoyed when we asked questions. Two out of four orders came out incorrect, so we sent them back. All that happened was they removed what we didn't want and sent back out the same plates. When I asked for the sausage that was supposed to accompany my dish, Jamie rolled her eyes and said "I'll see what I can do." We never received an apology and she obviously avoided our table for most of our visit. I was very unhappy.

Probably one of the worst dining experiences I have had in along time. While the wait staff and hostesses were very attentive, it took us 90 minutes to get our food after out appetizer was served. It also looked to us that parties arriving after us were being served prior to us. The only explanation we got was that there was a big party whose food was ahead of ours. When the food arrive, I found it to be bland as well. There was no effort to reduce the bill for our long wait, which would have been a nice touch. When you add in the inadequate parking and too small waiting area while waiting to be seated, this isn't a place I'll return.

We sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. It wasn't until I asked the manager for glasses of water after 15 minutes that we got any attention. Everyone was very friendly, but that was only the beginning of a very interesting date night. I couldn't ever really figure out what was going on as different tables would experience the same thing, problems with their food, and a huge delay. Ultimately it's got to be a management thing—because it appeared that the wait staff was doing multiple jobs. My seafood risotto was very seafood-ie, almost like the sea had been dumped on top. My wife enjoyed her chicken parmigiana. But we won't go back.

The food, outstanding. The ambiance, was okay as it was very crowded, very loud and things were being whisked so fast to hurry for the next patrons, that it lacked the romantic flair I had heard it was great for. Our server was average at best and was not good at keeping our beverages filled nor was he good at keeping us informed of our waits on items. I overheard him loudly explaining to the table next to us that no one should eat veal as it is murdering baby cows. I don't eat veal, however, that made me not want to eat ANYTHING!

Went on Valentine's Day wth another couple. Waited 30 minutes to be seated although we had a reservation. Food was excellent but service was clearly lacking, most likely because of staffing issues. We waited a good 45 minutes after appetizers before entrees came out. Have had better experiences in the past at this restaurant and it is still a favorite. However, they clearly need to staff better for big occasions and make sure they don't overbook.

My husband and I chose to dine at Sophabella's for Valentine's Day. While our experience was not bad it was certainly only fair at best. Our meals varied in quality. The steak was excellent and the Seafood Portofino was very lackluster. It had a lot of great seafood but ended up average due to the watery consistency of the sauce and a general lack of flavor. The tiramisu was very cold and dry - probably the worst I have had in quite some time. Unfortunately, the service did not make up for the food. Although we ordered drinks immediately, they came after the appetizer was delivered. The waiter was sporadic with his attention and seemed as if he had been thrown into the role. I cannot recommend Sophabella's.

Let be start by saying my wife enjoyed Sophabella's more than I did. I found it to be above average, and better than most chain restaurants, but not overwhelmingly so. I had fried cheese Ravioli which was no different than Olive Gardens. My wife had a portabella mushroom dish she enjoyed. I had a tortellini dish that was very good and she had a seafood medley she really liked. I found it to be a bit fishy, but I'm really picky with seafood. The Cannoli was average, but the chocolate cake was very very good.
