We are total foodies and have eaten in many upscale restaurants, and Son Cubano is one of the best. The food is outstanding. We had the vegetable empinadas for an appetizer and they were incredible. They were flaky and melted in your mouth. I had the salmon, which was very good. My boyfriend had the Paella and he cleaned his entire plate. We also had two drinks- I had a mango mojito and he had something called Miami Blues. They were $12 each but worth it because there was enough alcohol for 3 drinks in 1. A little too strong for me to try to enjoy at dinner. It is my fourth visit to the restaurant and I love its food, specially the appetizers and Desserts. They have best churro in the neighborhood, very tasty. Just be honest - we did not mind waiting. The atmosphere was beautifus and music was incredible.

Although the music seemed to get louder with every song (we were there from 10-12) that would be the only down side but also completely understandable. The food was great and the service was great and the view was amazing. We were almost scared away by the negative reviews but I would definitely go back.
