"On Saturday night, they had live music consisting of two older guys singing older songs. It was not the greatest music, but it lent a festive air. They also scaled back their menu. They used to have some innovative takes on food and a score of interesting appetizers we would try. Now, it is a smaller menu with less innovation, but still pretty solid. It is not fancy, or great cuisine, but it is warm, friendly and reliable. We will go back."

"One of the best things about Somers 202 is that their regular menu is great for family and especially kids. Their specials are quite special. Chef David is extremely clever and I've never been disappointed. The wait-staff is wonderful... friendly and extremely attentive. I am so grateful for such an excellent restaurant here, in the country."

"I am a regular at Somers and I drive almost 2 hours to get there. If this doesn't tell you enough I don't know what will. The food alone is the best I have had and I can confidentally say this as a NY'er and eating at some of the best Manhattan restaurants, especially for what you pay here. The atmosphere is a bit loud on a weekend night but if you are with a group it is great. The bar scene is awesome and even though the wait can sometimes be long to get a table on a weekend(even with reservations) it is MORE than worth it! I can not speak more highly of this neighborhood gem."

"My husband and I frequent this restaurant for our "date nights". We go during the week as we have an infant. The staff is friendly, helpful & accommodating. The chef sent us out a small tasting as an offering. The ambiance has a balance of modern country as well as some drama with it's over-sized booths which can be quite cozy & romantic on a slower night. Always look forward to going."
