  • "I love this restaurant. The menu is limited, and the kitchen staff does a great job with all the menu items. Everything I've ever ordered here has been delicious. The pizzas are wonderful as is the chicken picatta & chicken marsala. My favorite menu item is the salmon entree with tomato jam. At lunch, they offer a salmon BLT with tomato jam which is also wonderful. The small salads are big enough for two to split as an accompaniment to an entree. I love the simple salad with organic greens, shaved parmesan. I also enjoyed the tomato caprese salad, which was a special menu item last time I was there. The desserts are divine. The cocktails are very good and the wine list has some nice selections. Parking in the garage is validated."

  • "It would be a great neighborhood restaurant except it's in a very empty business/shopping complex. Parking is somewhat inconvenient for such an empty building as well. The food was your typical Italian and service was quick and friendly. Pizza we ordered was good except for the crust which was very doughy and chewy. Some might like it that way but we prefer thin and crispy. It's really too bad that it is in such an empty location. Maybe it's more bustling during lunch. We found it on Groupon."

  • "The initial greeting was great and we were seated at one of the two booths inside. Our waiter was very quick to get everything taken care of for us. The food was out faster than any other restaurant I have ever seen, the meatballs are to die for. Overall, the service does get a little bit slower once you have your food but the atmosphere is great so it is not an issue. The wine list is exceptional and anyone who wants some amazing wines must go here."

Food was fabulous -- appetizers, salmon and lamb entrees and desert... love that tiramisu!! They have gourmet pizzas and make their own pasta! Wine is a specialty, so what more could an evening offer???? Thanks Jon for the great dining experience..."

  • "Before booking the reservation, we watched the "About Us" video on the restaurant website, which not only introduced two of the family who own and operate it, but gave a great feel for the food and operating philosophy. We enjoyed our entrees and desserts, all freshly prepared and made in-house. We were there on a slow night, so our server and at least one other staff member checked up on our table regularly. This is one of very few locally family-owned restaurants in the Biltmore Fashion / Esplanade area. For a date night or joining colleagues after work, this is a great option that exceeded expectations."

  • "It was birthday/date night and we were excited to try a new Italian-type restaurant. The positive reviews were promising! We arrived at the restaurant for our 6:45 dinner reservation and were promptly seated at a high-top table . . . IN THE BAR BY THE VERY DRAFTY DOOR! What restaurant seats their patrons in the bar when they've made a dinner reservation in advance? We dashed the thought of ambiance with our food as we watched football on the very largeTV, ordered a round of drinks, put in our dinner order, and the waiting game began. We waited and waited and waited. An hour later our friendly waiter our food was being plated; 20minutes later still no food. At that point, we gave up and left."

  • "This is the third time we've dined here & it gets better each time. My dining partner & I shared the mixed green salad, which was big enough to split. For entrees, we ordered Salmon & Chicken Marsala. Both entrees were absolutely delicious! The salmon dish was accompanied by tomato jam, pancetta, broccoli & was delightfully tasty. The Chicken Marsala dish included chanterelle mushrooms, caramelized onions, & marsala wine and was wonderfully light, flavorful, tender and delicious. We've have always felt very welcome here. Tonight was no exception. This family owned establishment aims to please & they do. Server Ryan was very attentive. If you haven't been here before, I would highly recommend you try it out. You won't be disappointed."

  • "After making my reservation, I got a call from the owner informing me that they had a party coming in and our reservation on Open Table forced us into a high top table. Normally this would not be a problem but one of my party was my 86 year old mother and I was pretty sure a high top would not be comfortable for her. The restaurant was very apologetic and attempted to accommodate us with a booth at a later time. Turns out the party was about 15 adults and another dozen or so pre-teen kids who we're running around the restaurant and generally being extremely loud. Walter, the father and owner came over to us and apologized several times for the noise, offering us comped apps and desserts. Totally unnecessary, but much appreciated!"
