SoLita Las OlasGreat food and overall experienceThe food was very flavorful and the courses came to our table with great timing. Our waiter checked on us a few times throughout the meal and refilled our water without us asking. He also packed my leftovers. The main courses were especially good. I had salmon and my friend had chicken marsala. Everything was great. I thought the food was good, but certainly not great. The low points of out dinner were that the Caesar salad was tasteless with no tang or garlic flavor at all. The fedelini pomodoro was swimming in oil that had settled to the bottom of the bowl. On a high note, the rigatoni with sunday sauce was very tasty, and the pork as tender as could be. The veal chop was also excellent and very tender.
The service was attentive and friendly. My only gripe is my pet peeve about there not being a hostess at the podium when we arrived. The staff was very accommodating & made me feel very comfortable. Our eggplant appetizer was delicious. I had the veal parm for dinner & my husband had the salmon, both we very good. Our waiter was right on top of everything, made the evening enjoyable. The food was so delicious and authentic. The portions were huge, so it was definitely worth the money. We had the eggplant stack as an appetizer- AMAZING. For entrees we had the gnocchi and the linguine with clam sauce. Both were absolutely delicious.
