Solera Restaurant & Wine BarThere were only two serversThere were only two servers in sight so the service was very slow. The waiter failed to put in our order for our entrees so those took longer than usual. On a positive note, he substituted a more expensive wine for the one we ordered as he did not have a full bottle available- and lowered the price. The patio was full when we left which is pretty good for a Sunday. We have eaten every item on the menu at one time or another and everything has been delicious. The lamb and scallops are excellent entree choices and the calamari is the best in Denver. The coffee is superb.
The patio doubles the restaurant space in the warmer months and has its own special ambiance. The wine list is lengthy with a bottle for everyone's wallet. We love the bar and eat there often. Each appetizer and entre were really an artful masterpiece in addition to being innovative and delicious in the combination of flavors and tastes.

Solera is great for ordering small plates(tapas) too. Since we were headed to theatre, we enjoyed their calamari...again! It's delicious. The cheese plate selection was yummy, and our salads were fresh. Love their bread. Mix their excellent balsamic vinager with some of the olive oil...WOW! Try their varied drink selection as well.
