The afternoon of our reservations, I needed to increase our # from 6 to 9. I called and the staff was very helpful. Knowing we had tickets to an early show, they expedited our orders. Wait staff was gracious and helpful throughout the meal. And to top off a superb service experience, the food was absolutely fabulous. Authentic Italian cuisine. The homemade pasta was everything we could have hoped for and then some. Sole Mio helped make it a great evening. It's my go to date spot before a performance at the Schermerhorn or an event at Bridgestone that I'm dressing a little nicer for. The ambiance is great, the food is excellent, and the location is easy to get to. I do recommend making reservations, as the Schermerhorn performances can make it harder to get in without a reservation sometimes. And get the bill a little before you need to, if you're going to an event. The food served was not as warm/hot as it should have been and overall the consensus was the food was bland. Not a great combination for an Italian restaurant. We were disappointed and would give the restaurant another chance at some future date if reviews/recommendations showed improvement. We split the caprese which was good but a small portion. Then we each had a simple pasta for our main course. The home made arrabiata and the mama rosa sauces were both amazing.
