Wait staff was far too interested in the "important" table next to ours. At one time no less than six people were waiting on the four at the table. Caused us to constantly have to move to let them in and out of the area between the table. Very distracting. Servers were good and knowledgeable. I especially like that the menu changes regularly - each time I visit I try something different and am impressed every time.
They also hold special events on a weekly basis - on this particular night there was a jazz band playing in the bar area. The food was very good and the atmosphere was appropriate for Mother's day. We will return, maybe for a lunch this time to see the difference between that and dinner. Our first visit there was dinner and it was quieter and the ambiance was more relaxed and enjoyable. My favorite dish so far is the black truffle risotto with scallops and leeks. The pizzas are also great. The happy hour tapas and drinks are worth the drive through Point Loma during rush hour.
