The food is always fresh and the servers are very warm and friendly. We eat there often because it is located conveniently close to our home. But if it were not we'd still make the trip. Thursday we had a party of 4 and all ordered the Sea Bass.
We all said the same thing- best ever!!!! Service was great, wines were great, and the food was excellent.

Salmon... amazing. Halibut... incredible. Even the salad and blueberry dressing... incredible. The only improvements I could suggest are: 1) Better bread 2) Remove the cloth covers from those chairs... uncomfortable because they bunch up under you 3) The gazpacho was amazing, but bland before I added fresh lime juice and cilantro. I mean, we enjoy good food but consider ourselves fairly easy to please, not a characteristic of this relative. Solano's immediately comes to our mind whenever we want to eat out, and we couldn't think of a better place to roll the dice on pleasing our relative. As usual, Solano's did not disappoint! Our party of five each received wonderfully tasty entrees and everything from the staff to the food was presented in such a pleasant manner the evening was a total success. The salad dressings, sauces and chutneys/salsas were all made from scratch and delicious! Always worth the visit!
Food choices that we like, consistently good include the salads, salmon and halibut.
This visit was no exception. Also, they are always accomodating about substituting vegetables for starch.
Good service without hovering.
Our guests ordered the vegetable lasagna and prawns/scallops. Both were good!
