"Our food was fresh, creatively prepared and beautifully presented. The fish is very fresh. The beets in the salad just perfect. Nice blend of flavors to the foods. Especially appreciated was that when a bottle of wine (Argyle Pinot Noir) was served, it was flat and lifeless. No problem by the waiter when he did not charge us for it and no protest. We ordered another and it was great."

"The food was good, not great. Tuna tartar was fresh but lacking in flavor. Prawns with linguini was good. Vinaigrette on the spinach salad was bland but the bleu cheese vinaigrette on the butter lettuce salad was good. We will give this restaurant another try but hope that they work on the menu a bit.
Service was a little inconsistent. We waited a long time for someone to take our order. Then the salads came quickly and the entrees came while we were still eating our salad!"

"Empty restaurant but still tried to place us adjacent to , just about in, the kitchen. Should have waited to obtain full liquor license prior to opening. Food, Halibut wasn't great and I love halibut. May try it on our next visit to the area as we recognize it is new property and they will probably improve."

"Although primarily a local spot it qualifies as a destination of sorts. Food is very good, not truly excellent. A lot of the customers are known to the owners, which speaks for a loyal following. The new location, much larger than the prior one, works well. The staff is well trained. We enjoy coming there."

"This is our second visit in a week. I LOVE Solano's Bistro! Everything about it is great. The decor is nice, beautiful table settings with table cloths, excellent service, beautiful and comfortable setting. The food is DELICIOUS. I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with fruit. They make their own blueberry BBQ sauce that is awesome. I am going back in 2 weeks. I can't wait! You won't be disappointed at Solano's."

"First time that we've been to their new much larger premises. We were concerned that maybe things had changed but we needn't of worried. Still a 5 star + experience all round and one of the best steaks I've had around the globe."
