"The rooms are not suitable for large parties. There was one round table sufficient for our group of six but we were informed it was reserved. Instead we had to sit on uncomfortable bench style seats at narrow tables. We were dining for over 2 hours for a birthday party and no one ever came to sit at that round table.
Consequently after spending over $200 while being quite uncomfortable, I would never return to this restaurant."

"Loved the fact that there were THREE vegetarian entrees and that the server was able to describe each one in detail. The carnivore enjoyed the burger and the fries were delicious. The Black Cherry Soda French Toast was interesting and had complex favors."

"I had heard a lot about Solace so we decided to go for my birthday. It was really expensive for a salad, a burger and a quinoa burger. The salad was excellent, but the burgers were just okay and the fries were over seasoned. I wish I had spent the $15 towards something better. We sat downstairs and it didn't seem very inviting. It was more like being shoved in small spaces with IKEA furniture. If we decide to go again hopefully we will sit upstairs. Service was excellent!"

"The food here is fantastic. The menu items are familiar classics, but modernized and with a twist. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The space itself is sort of "industrial-rustic" and the seating could be more comfortable, but it's a great find. We live in NYC and were visiting on spring break, and this place could hold its own against the restaurants in downtown Manhattan."

"We just love this place! We have been 6 times now and have never been disappointed. The clever drink list is a must to try. Gordon's Cup is a fantastic light drink to begin your night. The yellow tail appetizer is fresh as can be and the rest of the menu is a delight. Mustard seabass and the pork belly need to be consumed. Enjoy this great fine."

"Not much to look at on the patio.

Very disappointed with the Duck Confit. It was greasy and not prepared correctly and the potatoes were charred and black. It was a very pricey meal for nothing.

Very Disappointed in my first time at Solace and the Moonlight Lounge."

"Love the upstairs but wish it were bigger / more seating. Bartenders are helpful and friendly. Food (except for the lobster or crab briks) was excellent. Service was good. Ambiance is good but all four of us agree that it is too loud - hard to have a conversation with anyone other than your direct neighbor. Will definitely go again and refer to others."
