The one-hour class will feature a Pinot Noir, plus four other wines that have like qualities, but different nuances. After, class members and guests are invited to stay for a 4 course tasting menu paired with wines in the style of the class. This will give everyone the chance to enjoy the new wine styles and see how they taste when paired with great dishes. Reservations for the tasting menu are available starting at 7:30pm.   • "Sojourn's food was off the charts but the ambience ruined it for us. We were practically sitting on top of our neighbors and the noise level was so loud that I had to read my husband's lips in order to converse with him. We ordered desert but we decided to cancel it before we got a migraine. I realize that restaurants need to make a profit by jamming customers into their venues but not at the expense of the customers enjoyment."

  • "We all got the brunch deal for $30. It includes endless Mimosas, , Bloody Marys, or Sangrias along with an entree and side from a selected menu. All of our food was amazing! I got the Almond crusted French toast with a side of polenta with truffle oil and parmesan. Big enough portion but not oversized. Everybody else got the Croquet Madame with either a side of chorizo harsh or fries.The plates were ckeacleared by all of us! The server and busser were on top of clearing our plates and filling our drinks. It was great that they weren't strict on the 2 hour max for unlimited drinks too!"

  • "Where to begin... We went with another couple and shared dishes tapas style. We were seated at this great corner table in the bar area. We started with the cheeses and meats, the triple cream brie was amazing... At the recommendation of our server once again we tried the oysters. I don't really like oysters but the server assured us that the oysters were perfect for those who loved oysters because they were different and a great gateway for beginners. I LOVED them. Quite simply the best ravioli I've ever had-A must have. Black Pasta, Grilled Lamb Chops, and the half chicken - its hard to find chicken done right, this one was done perfect - crispy on the outside and juicy on inside, white wine sauce was tasty Wine was solid and I'm picky."

It was nice to be able to share dishes - all excellently prepared - and be guided by a very knowledgeable gentleman in taking our order and helping us select a bottle of wine.   • "This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Upper East. It's always my go to place when I want to go somewhere close to home where I can kind of find that 'downtown lounge' feel with great food and wine, good ambiance, and great music. I love the decor, and how it feels like you're not even in the UES anymore once you step in. The crowd is always young and hip, except for some weekdays when you tend to have much older regulars hanging around the bar. Food is always consistent. I love their small plates style. My favorite dish here is the croquettes. I seriously crave them all the time! All the other dishes I've tried have been pretty good too. Perfect place for a date or a girls night out. I highly recommend. A must try!"

Sojourn is one of those restaurant that has not once disappointed me. The staff are friendly and attentive. The fool is absolutely delicious! The wine list is diverse and interesting pairings with the menu (and the sangria is fabulous)! A testament to a fine dining experience! (But without the pretentious snobby feel or ridiculously priced items)"

  • "Immediately upon entering Sojourn (if you can find the door, awkwardly tucked in the entryway of an apartment building) you are struck by the attempt to create ambiance by removing light. The only lighting that fills the small space comes from a single candle on each table. What might be romantic if slightly brighter and in a piano bar falls flat in a restaurant that attempts to offer contemporary American fare. The menu boasts that plates are perfect for sharing, with the waitstaff describing portions as being between an appetizer and an entree, leaving diners to puzzle over how to divvy up their orders. The food was not memorable and a bit overpriced, though I would've gladly paid more if only to help get ConEd to turn the lights back on."

I would come back here but only VERY early to avoid the noise. I would never come here at prime time, especially on a weekend. The noise interferes with the enjoyment of the food."

  • "We had a large party including 2 young children. The staff was very accommodating to our needs and served the food in a timely manner r since we had an event to attend. A couple of the entrees were a little skimpy....there were only 3 scallops in the entre with scallops but overall we were all quite satisfied! Some entrees included a veg and starch and all was under $30...a good deal!We all enjoyed our meals and thought the price was excellent for a NYC restaurant. We would have liked it better if the lighting wasn't so dark especially since we were dining early. It was very hard to see your food!"

The staff are friendly and attentive...and the most admirable quality of the staff is they are well-educated on the menu. It is a bit on the loud side and a little cramped but it is worth it. I wouldnt recommend it for a quiet rkmantic dinner if you go between 7 and 9. Never had a bad meal and the wine is always good."

  • "I had a reservation for 9 on a Friday night. I was told at 9:10 that the next table would be ours, but once it opened up they seated another couple who came in after us! I asked the hostess what happened and she said she got confused. We decided to just leave and eat elsewhere. The tables were right next to each other so there was no privacy or room and it was so loud. Poor service. Won't be coming back. *I didn't even eat, so I rated the food on the time I went there for brunch."

  • "A group of us go here every 3 month or so. it is our go to place. Same table and they know us now. We adore the service, wine and food. They never disappoint us and always make sure we have enough food to share amongst the 4 of us. The wine list is intense and definitely suits every palette…Can be loud and crowded but part of the charm for this place. If you want quiet and romantic there are other places…if you want great share food, great wine and great service, GO!!!"

The food was great, the entrees were full of flavor as well. The rows between tables can get a little cramped, and it does get noisy here, but overall it was a great dining experience."
