"We were the first diners of the night. Told we couldn't move our reservation because they were "booked solid." Not sure they understand that term because it never really filled up in the time we were there; so they could've accommodated us. As first diners it took a few minutes too long for them to realize we were there. Overall, not a bad meal. Octopus was just ok; a little too grilled and thus a little too tough. Not all that memorable. Service was indifferent; the guy did just enough to get the job done.

All that said, a beautiful room. Bar looks good too but didn't wander over."

"Great restaurant - an outdoor garden tucked in the back of the hotel. Highly recommend - but make reservations. We did 6;30 on a weeknight and by 7;30 the place was full (Tuesday night!)"

"I have been here before, for dinner. This was a first for lunch/brunch. The negative...unable to valet since I was not a member of the SOHO club, so I was forced to look for parking in the lot across the steet. We were limited to Sunday Brunch menu, we arrived at 2pm? And the service was slow, but the food is always good here."

"We had an amazing lunch at Cecconi's. Everything about the experience was wonderful. The jazz on Sunday made the experience even more special. We opted to sit inside close to the musicians. It was an Italian/New Orleans experience. Food, service and wine were excellent and top notch!"

"Had a great time here - the only hotel restaurant that did not feel like a hotel restaurant among all the ones we tried while in South Beach (a mistake I would not repeat; no more SoBe dining except for Cecconi's). The atmosphere reminded me of the lively restaurants in the LES. The appetizers and pastas were great; the wine was as as well. I don't remember what our apps were but my lobster spaghetti was fresh and delicious, as was my boyfriend's pasta (don't remember which, sorry, but I do remember liking his enough to steal more than one bite). Service was attentive but not suffocating. Highly recommended if you're NOT looking for the restaurant equivalent of Liv... this place is energetic, but they know to keep the music un-clublike."

"Everything was great except the seating. They have plush padded seats at most tables but in a small section of the restaurant (where we sat) they are still using hard metal gardening chairs. These are fine for half an hour or so but then get really uncomfortable. Not sure why they don't use the same ones throughout the restaurant?"

"Really beautiful dining setting and excellent food, other than the desserts (the key lime pie was very average). However, the food and the setting were somewhat eclipsed by the erratic service. Our starters arrived before our aperitifs, requests for black pepper ignored, water glasses not topped up, entrees arrived about 30 seconds after our starter plates had been whisked away. The pace was a bit relentless- we had finished out meal less than an hour after sitting down. Given that we had an 8.30pm table, I can't imagine that there was a desperate need to turn the table. 18% service automatically included-we already sent the bill back for being overcharged for 2 extra glasses of wine so I didn't have any fight left on the service charge."
