A word from SOHO - Atlanta
After 16 years, we at SOHO continue to strive to please our guests, whether they’re looking for old favorites, seasonal creations, small plates or an introduction to new wine. We’ve tried to adapt our style to reflect current food trends as well as the way our guests want to eat. So while there’s a selection for those who want to splurge on entrees such as the signature Sea Bass, New Zealand Elk or Certified Angus NY Strip, there are plenty of other options including gluten-free and vegetarian selections along with weekly wine and tapas pairings. Cheers!

Diner Reviews
  • "We literally needed to get out our phones to have light to read the menu. I am all for dimming the lights to get the ambience right but it is extreme. With that being said the food was great as was our waiter. He picked up on a food allergy off a side remark which was impressive. The noise level was also extreme from several groups, they were having fun, just too loud."

  • "Our first time at Soho, the food was just okay. The blackened chicken sandwich was overcooked and tough and my wife's pasta bolognese was okay, but unremarkable. Our friend got the burger and it looked spectacular. The setting is nice in Vinings Village and the place is nice. There was a large private party the night we went, which may have had the kitchen off its game. We'll give it another try and maybe go for the burger."

  • "That is the number one reason we go. I have ordered calamari all over the world and this is still the best."

  • "SOHO's has been a favorite for years. Consistently good food and great service. The chef does a wonderful job with a great dinner menu, something for everyone. (Lunch menu much more limited). The Sea Bass with bok choy is yummy. The special with Gulf Shrimp served with broccoli and bowtie noodles with a light sauce was delicious. The carpacchio appetizer was a generous portion, but sliced too thick. Buckhead Diner slices it paper thin, which it needs to be in my opinion. Need more Pinot Grigio selections on the wine list, and would also like to have a better selection of "European-style" desserts."

  • "We were seeing a show at the Cobb Energy Center and dined at SOHO before the show. I had the Lobster "Sunday night special" and my husband ordered from the theater menu..............short ribs. The lobster was delicious and the sides, just perfect. We had a very enjoyable evening and I would highly recommend both the Sunday night lobster fest and all the items on the theater menu. We will definitely be back!"

  • "It has been a few years since we last dined at Soho, so we were really looking forward to celebrating my wife's birthday there. Now we wish we hadn't! Extremely poor service, food was like warm to cold! Over priced! Don't waist your time here, too many other great places to eat in and around Atlanta."

  • "I had a business lunch at SOHO this week, the food was great and the restaurant was very nice inside. I would love to go back for dinner and drinks."

  • "This restaurant is consistently good--We have been dining here frequently for two years and have never been disappointed."

  • "Have been going to SOHO for years and it's always been a 5 star experience with outstanding with good food and service. But disappointed today with the beef bolognese with ribbon noodles for the luncheon special because it was quite ordinary. For a $14 entree it really needed a better presentation. Add some greenery to the plate (i.e. brocollini). Also, homemade pasta would definitely enhance this dish, especially for a restaurant of this calibre. The chocolate bread pudding was a flat, wet sugary mess topped with ice cream. $100 tab for two for lunch definitely was not worth it."

  • "Another excellent experience. have not been able to get to Soho in a year. NEVER disappoints. Excellent service. The baby Back ribs lunch special was excellent, and I highly recommend."

  • "We had a business meeting with one of our General Sales agents. I decided to pick SOHO because it was conviently located and their menu has a great selection. I ordered the Mahi Mahi tacos and it was great meal. I assume my guests also liked what they ordered because they didn't have left overs. Overall great service and experience."

  • "Great lunch with coworkers and the bosses wife. Good food, great place. I will bring my husband back with me for a romantic dinner here. Rosci the waitress gave us excellent service and recommendations. I will definitely request her table area. I had a salad and it was great and the other two ladies also enjoyed there lunch too."

  • "...and beyond, then you know you have a winner. When a busy restaurant, like SOHO, realizes that its service was not up to standard -- there was a delay in a few of our appetizers--they do something about it. And SOHO was more than gracious. The chef prepares a wide range of entrees, and there are special wine and tapas flights that are delicious. Chicken? Yep. Fish dish. Yeah. Steak? Certainly. Elk? Elk? Yes! A greaat dessert menu that finishes off a delightful meal. Ask for a table on the porch or the left front room. Although the music level is "friendlier" than a number of other restaurants, it is always nicer in those two locations. An OTP great choice for all."

  • "She rocked! I wish I didn't wait so long to do this review so I could remember her name but I would totally go back a million times. She was so patient with me and my indecisive wine selection issues. It doesn't hurt that she liked game of thrones either. : ) "

  • "The food was yummy and the staff left us alone for the most part. I tend to prefer a more european style of dining and do not like staff that hover or check-in frequently. Can't wait to go back!"

  • "Great neigbhorhood gem. My friend enjoyed her sea bass. My crab cake was a little dry but the house salad is really good. Just a nice quiet atmosphere to catch up with friends. Service was very good. "

  • "Soho is very average. We just moved to the Vinings. This place was recommended as an intimate restaurant. It wasn't horrible but when you go out on a Saturday night on a date night with your wife you expect to have a nice romantic dinner. We spent $90 with wine and really could have gotten the same quality of food at Olive Garden. Tables are too close, where you can others conversations, average service and my wife's pasta was bland. Save your money, there are much better choices in the Vinings."

  • "Our waitress seemed to forget us through the entire meal. We had to continually remind her to bring drinks, deserts etc. This was the worst srervice I have received anywhere. Although the food was very good I will probably not return."

  • "The food is good without being fussy or elaborate. Best calamari in town. Subtle staff. I' m not a wine drinker but friends say the wine list is good. We have been coming here for years and we love it. There is always something new to try onthe menu. "

  • "Tapas were great as usual. In fact the cassoulet tapa was the best tapa we've ever had here."

  • "It was our first time at SOHO and we will definitely be back. The lunch menu is small but inventive. Food is excellent; there doesn't seem to be a bad choice on the menu. Service will make you feel like you are at a higher-priced Atlanta restaurant. (They seem to hire and train great servers.) SOHO is a bit difficult to find, though, so don't give up when driving through the parking lot; you will find it eventually. "

  • "I always go to Soho for the lobster feast on Sunday...I truly enjoy it. This last time I went I wish that they had cleaned the lobster tail better...otherwise the salad was absolutely amazing compared to last year."

  • "A very welcoming, relaxed dining experience. We tried many dishes and loved all of them. Calamari, elk, crab cakes, pasta, cheese plate.Absolutely delicious with no complaints. Excellent service from hostess to server and will definitely return to enjoy again."

  • "Chose the 2 specials for the evening and was very impressed by the 8oz filet, more so than the fish special. Both were great. "

  • "The waiter was average at best; he was trying but not very "on top" of things. We had to keep reminding him of what we asked for. The food was very good though and our reserved table was ready upon our arrival which is much appreciated. I love the outdoor dining experience although we sat inside for this visit since we had a young child with us and it was a little chilly out. Another reason we go to Soho is that they are accommodating for my daughter's vegan appetite."

  • "My friend and I went to SOHO and we stayed for three hours, and the waiter didn't even mind. The food was delicious and came rather quickly. There were a lot of different things to pick from on the menu! The atmosphere was great as well. I love a candlelit dinner."

  • "Excellent service, food and ambience. Don't miss the chicken tortilla soup or the blackened grouper. A great anniversary dinner and delicious memories for my wife and me."

  • "What a great restaurant! I had dined here many years ago and was looking for a place I had not been lately to take a friend from Germany. I just want to say that the food was as good as I have had in a long time. Beautifully presented, plentiful and cooked to perfection. I was very pleased. I cannot afford to eat out often, but this one will be in the rotation from now on."
