A word from SOHO - Atlanta
After 16 years, we at SOHO continue to strive to please our guests, whether they’re looking for old favorites, seasonal creations, small plates or an introduction to new wine. We’ve tried to adapt our style to reflect current food trends as well as the way our guests want to eat. So while there’s a selection for those who want to splurge on entrees such as the signature Sea Bass, New Zealand Elk or Certified Angus NY Strip, there are plenty of other options including gluten-free and vegetarian selections along with weekly wine and tapas pairings. Cheers!

Diner Reviews
  • "The waiter was average at best; he was trying but not very "on top" of things. We had to keep reminding him of what we asked for. The food was very good though and our reserved table was ready upon our arrival which is much appreciated. I love the outdoor dining experience although we sat inside for this visit since we had a young child with us and it was a little chilly out. Another reason we go to Soho is that they are accommodating for my daughter's vegan appetite."

  • "Classic Chocolate Bread Pudding was phenomenal. Hard to think bread pudding could be so light, moist, and delightful. Can taste it right now!"

  • "My friend and I went to SOHO and we stayed for three hours, and the waiter didn't even mind. The food was delicious and came rather quickly. There were a lot of different things to pick from on the menu! The atmosphere was great as well. I love a candlelit dinner."

  • "Excellent service, food and ambience. Don't miss the chicken tortilla soup or the blackened grouper. A great anniversary dinner and delicious memories for my wife and me."

  • "We always enjoy our time at SOHO, but the other night was fantastic. The SeaBass is one that I will not pass up when I go there, and it was accompanied by great service from everyone you encountered!"

  • "What a great restaurant! I had dined here many years ago and was looking for a place I had not been lately to take a friend from Germany. I just want to say that the food was as good as I have had in a long time. Beautifully presented, plentiful and cooked to perfection. I was very pleased. I cannot afford to eat out often, but this one will be in the rotation from now on."

  • "We took a chance and tried this restaurant based on info from Open Table and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, parking was free and a breeze. The service was outstanding. We will return."

  • "Enjoyed the food. Delicious in its own right, but not so different from the pricier options you'd find at any local upscale restaurant. We liked everything we ordered. Recommend the butternut squash soup. A generous helping. Tasty salads. We also had the fried green tomato appetizer. Creamy goat cheese pairs nicely. The bread pudding is more like a fluffy brownie than the traditional bread pudding you'd make at home with cubed chunks of bread. Yummy. Also fresh, seasonal sorbets. Highly recommend."

  • "The service is great, the business always busy. The food is usually perfect but this last visit my steak was gritty and overlooked. The carpaccio is always a hit."

  • "Took friends for dinner and we all ordered different entrees. All were delicious. I hadn't been to Soho in awhile but was in Vinings for a cocktail party and planned ahead by making open table reservation and will go back more often in the future. I asked hostess for a quiet table since we wanted to catch up and she sat us in an alcove that was just right for conversation."

  • "My experience at Soho was very good! There was a good variety of options on the menu, and my sandwich was delicious! Our waiter was also very friendly and helpful. I would recommend eating here!"

  • "I have been going to this restaurant since it opened, and the food is always delicious. They have a great diversified menu, something for everyone. Had a late lunch on this occasion and missed the crowd; which was good because this place can be very noisy. My compliments to the chef for the consistent quality food, preparation and presentation and a thank you to the service people who always try to please. Food definitely gets 5 stars."

  • "The server was outstanding and accommodating. I just felt the food was way too expensive for the quality. The fish dishes were $30 each, then salads on top of that plus drinks. The food was fine; just not worth $40 for an entree. The decor seemed a little dated as well. Probably won't go back."

  • "Elk is not something you often find on a menu. Soho prepares it quite eloquently and tastefully. The calmari is also the best we've ever had."

  • "This is a great place to meet with friends and family. Great menu, drinks and ambience. One if my favorite places to go for a quick bite to eat or a seat dinner with friends & family. A most try if you haven't been..."

  • "A friend suggested we meet at SOHO in Vinnings. There is easy access from 285 & 75. The decor is lovely. The hostess was delightful, calling me by name from my reservation. There was no wait for our table. Our server, Ann, was professional & knowledgable, but mostly her welcoming smile made us feel at home. My friend's "Crab Cakes" very good. I had the "Braised Cider Beet Salad" and "Flat Iron Steak Tacos." Beet salad is a favorite and did not disappoint, with the right balance of ingredients, with light dressing. At 1st sight of my tacos, I honestly thought, "There could be some more steak." However, they were tasty and filling. Their bread is a slice of heaven. Our 1st SOHO meal definitely will not be our last."

  • "We just moved to the area & someone recommended SoHo. Food and service were fantastic! Lots of variety on the menu including cocktails, wine and beers. I would have given 5 stars but the noise level was so bad that my husband and I couldn't hear each other to have a conversation. The table behind us were so loud that other diners were also staring at them. We will definitely go back but hopefully it won't be so loud."

  • "We were in town for a special event and wanted a restaurant close to our hotel (on Paces Ferry Rd). We found SOHO and were delighted. The food was excellent (crab cakes particularly tasty), cocktails fun, and the service staff friendly and efficient. We got a great meal and it didn't take hours. We would definitely return."

  • "..... nicely presented crab cakes on crispy green lettuce.(3 orders) They, however, lacked seasoning and taste...we each asked for additional dressing as well as salt & pepper ...sorry, it was not as I remembered it the last few times, and something I would never order nor recommend again. BUT, I WILL be back to try other menu items, and I WILL continue to recommend it ....I like the 'sense-of-Soho'."

  • "I have been to SoHo on a couple of occasions and it delivers for early and late dinners, simple and sophisticated. The staff and wait staff are eager to please. They didn't interrupt, but were attentive. Food was prompt, but not rushed. Very nice."

  • "Have been going here since SOHO opened, and it is always a winner! Love the menu, something for everyone. Chicken au jus, crabcakes, sea bass, soups, salads -- always wonderful and fresh. Definitely try the tapas and wine flights when offered as specials. I do want to comment on the high wine prices though. $12 for a glass of King Estates Pinot Gris!! You can buy the whole bottle for under $15. I was in F&B, and that's a little greedy. The back room is noisy and management may want to consider putting a solid partition where the curtain is, for better noise abatement. Loud and unpleasant to dine in the back when there is a big group dinner going on."

  • "Staff at front lackluster. Wait staff fine. Food okay. Interior a bit dated. Bathroom very clean - that may be the highlight of the place."

  • "I just got home from this restaurant after a first date. While I don't think I'll be going out with the girl again, the restaurant was a spectacular find, so the night wasn't a loss. I had set up a reservation prior and we were seated immediately. The tables were somewhat isolated and the atmosphere and lighting were romantic. We had to wait a little while to order, but the food came out very fast. I had the special which was salmon with grits, absolutely amazing. Finished with cheesecake and coffee, also amazing. Overall I spent about $65 with tip for dinner for 2 with dessert and 2 coffees. I highly suggest this restaurant and I thought the pricing was very good for what you get. I will definitely be returning."

  • "I’ve been here manyl times and really enjoyed it. However I don’t really appreciate the Hostess. She always seems to have a tinge of irritation/rude behavior. But the servers are always awesome and I’m not going to let the Hostess ruin my opinion of the restaurant."

  • "Service was very good, food was hit or miss which is unfortunate because we had heard good things. Had a shrimp appetizer which was pretty good and a steak that was underseasoned. My son had clam chowder which was watery, but the grouper that was spiced well."

  • "Went with some friends for drinks and some appetizers and all the food was yummy (and calamari was delicious!) and the cocktails were ok (could have been better but not bad). Overall - I'd definitely come back!"

  • "We went to SOHO for Valentine's and the experience was magnificent. The couples were seated in a private room that were couples only. The ambience was really nice. It was a very intimate setting and the noise level was low. The food was AMAZING! Great quality food and not too much food on your plate. We had a marvelous time."

  • "Came here for a Valentine's dinner. based on the price, was expecting a really nice meal - food was ok, but was more shocked by the speed of service. For a 3 course meal over $100, I expected to be at my table for more than an hour. Would have preferred a more relaxing, longer service and thought the food was just ok given the cost."

  • "My wife and I had a wonderful experience. We had reservations, but had to wait for a long time for our tables. The server and manager were very nice and comped part of our bill because we had to wait. We will go back. On our list of favorites spots in Vinings."

  • "My husband and I ordered the prime rib. It was some of the best we've ever had. Seasoned nicely and, I think, cooked over wood because it had a slightly smokey flavor. Our son loved his blackened grouper. Salad that came with the prime rib was fresh and House dressing was creamy with a hint of dill. Bread was pretty well done on the outside (this side of burnt) but the part that wasn't was tasty too."
