They had back to back reservations and a full house. Even with that the service and food were excellent. They never made us feel rushed. We noticed that when other diners left, they cleaned and reset the table in a quick orderly manner. The food was absolutely outstanding for the price you pay. Only ordering dishes which came with a side salad, the bill came out to $40. Also, the bread was top notch. Definitely one of the best breads I have ever eaten. The service was good, although our waiter could have been trained a little bit more in regards to opening wine as he struggled. Reservations are not required, but helpful. They are VERY easy to make. Every time I have been, I am greeted by warm and welcoming staff, seated quickly, accommodated to my liking, and approached by a server promptly. The owner comes around to tables often and makes sure everything is alright which doesn't happen in restaurants unless you are at a swanky place in a big city somewhere. The food is AMAZING and aesthetically pleasing. Everything down to the music is superb. The staff are also very knowledgeable about the menu and details about the food. We have NEVER been disappointed. The food is always perfect as is the service. The restaurant is very clean and every staff member, including the owner, always makes sure our dinners are wonderful. I Enjoyed a fish called Orata that tastes like flounder. They fileted the cooked fish in front of me. It melted in my mouth and the flavor was so good! The ribeye steak and lobster mashed potatoes my husband ate we give a 5. Mussels and clams were "really good" says my son. Parking can be a little tight, so get there early on the weekend.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was the first time inThis was the first time in years that we had ventured into Soffrito, and we remembered what we had been missing once we were seated. The restaurant was busy, but not so noisy you could not hear each other, the food was wonderful and the service was great. My husband and I each ordered the specials, and an appetizer. (Unfortunately I waited too long to write this and can't recall exactly what each was, but I do remembered that they arrived quickly enough for us to not be starving, and slow enough for us to not feel rushed.)
