The food was really good, the drinks excellent, the service was fine, the outdoor tables were nicely far apart from eat other, and the overall experience of eating lunch outside in Boston on a nice day (and yet having some shade) was wonderful. The price - about $50 before tip - was reasonable too. An outdoor eating nice gem in Boston's financial district (although lots of people choose to eat inside, which also looked nice)."

I got a turkey burger which was delicious - the fries weren't my favorite, but I would definitely try the salad next time as my friend said their dressing is great.   • "This is a schizophrenic restaurant touting great food (and the food was decent). What's not clear is that it converts to a nightclub about 10, and the scene completely changes. We had a 9:30 reservation, and at 10 the noise level ramped up beyond belief and our server disappeared. We received our appetizers along with our main courses. I never rush through a meal, but the gaps between courses were excessive. In fact, we were forced to ask repeatedly when our food would be ready, and ended up dealing with three different servers (who were clearly not communicating with each other). This is a "vibrant" pick-up scene with lots of 20-somethings. Yet the restaurant is clearly trying to offer a creative menu. I'm not sure it can do both."

My companion's food came out and after 15 minutes I'd not seen my waitress or new steak (I could have used more water and maybe another drink). When the manager walked by I stopped him to say "I really don't want my meal, just the check". He started to have an argument with me about how my steak was fine the first time and how I'd not been waiting very long. I used to eat there for lunch all the time because it's close to my office. I'll not be going back anytime soon."

  • "As our visit was during the Olympics and the women's hockey team was playing, the noise factor was a slight issue trying to have a conversation. However, the specials of the day were 100% awesome. I had the swordfish which was done to perfection. My associates both had the salmon and could not stop raving how good it was. I also had the opportunity a few months earlier to visit the establishment for a group dinner. The service and food was excellent, which is why I picked this location for the luncheon."

Once of us asked for salad dressing on the side and another asked for a chicken sandwich with no bread (no biggie if it came with the roll..didn't want to waste food if possible). The chef informed our server that this was not possible. The server (whom I felt bad for) informed us that he was too busy to put the dressing on the side or the chicken on the plate with no bread. Having spent so many yrs in the hospitality industry, I was shocked. This chef should be ashamed of himself for not putting his customers first. How much effort does it take to put the dressing in a ramekin vs on the salad?!?! At the end of it all, the food was sub-par and not worth the price-tag."
