A word from Social House
Social House is not your atypical Cigar Bar. First, and foremost, the majority of it is non-smoking by design as we wish to be a serious local Bistro that can be enjoyed by all. The Cigar area is a separate room and no smoke can invade the bar and main dining room and the Cigar lounge has a state of the art filtration system. Cigar smokers can enjoy the benefits of membership that comes with a humidity-controlled humidor, cigar and wine storage, a monthly gift and access to a VIP room. The restaurant is a design by local artist, John Janvirya who has done, amongst many other things, the former Chen Chow in Birmingham and I think the consumers will love his work. In warmer months, there is a garage door that opens the dining room to the outside which features a great patio which will not be developed until the weather turns. Our Bistro will be very Michigan dominated although our winter opening will hinder that. In the rest of the year, we will be very “farm to table”.Continued
