"The best meal we've had in a very long time, and we eat out at very nice restaurants all the time. Absolutely awesome. Service was timed to our wishes, recommendations for food and wine spot-on, and the food was amazing."

"compared to last visits here, the service was just okay and the main courses were under par. Drinks were made perfect as were appetizers, but disappointed with main course, scallops too much orzo, less is more. Venison meal in past was plated better, too much pasta took over, looked really messed compared to last 4 visits... disappointing."

"My husband and I both had the Walleye and it had a "fishy" taste to the point we were unable to finish our entree. We have never sent food back to a restaurant kitchen. However, I feel Smyth would have made certain we were happy with our experience here. The wedge salad was delicious!"

"We had a wonderful dinner Saturday night and then brunch Sunday morning. The twists on brunch classics were excellent! The Pabst Scrambled Eggs, Tiramisu Pancackes, Biscuits with Duck Sausage Gravy, the Saltine Crusted Bluegills...absolutely delightful!"

"Great location, ambiance was fantastic, Amazing patina look yet new. Bar area large with warm aptomphere. Flat Iron Steak melts in your mouth. Ahi Tuna was done perfectly. This is a must see and must dine at."

"We had dinner at Smyth on 3/2/12. My wife and I shared two appetizers. THe Rabbit two ways and the cheese board. the rabbit was excelleant by far the best thing about the meal. The cheese board was expensive and was nothing special very basic cheeses. I ordered the Venison Oso Busco w/rissoto and my wife had the tenderloin with mashed potatoes. the vension was horribly over cooked, tasteless and the rissoto was basically just a sloppy overcooked ball of mush. My wifes plate was a steak also overcooked and a pile of spinach just thrown on a scoop of potatoes. The next morning I ordered steak (medium rare) and eggs. The steak was almost as hard as the table. The service was excellent both times. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone"
