The chef does his own butchering and makes his own corned beef for the best Ruben I have ever had. Salads and vegetables all have creative, lovely twists. Although meat centric, there are menu items to please every palate. Ambiance was much more casual than I expected but a welcome surprize. The house made worchestershire is better than any store bought I have ever tried. My only complaint is our hostess didn't know the drink menu. We asked for iced tea and she didn't know they had it. The person I was with pointed it out on the menu. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with menu info and suggestions. My friend had shrimp and grits, with bacon and cheese in the grits.It was very tasty! I ordered the duck leg confit hash with potatoes, poached eggs, and a wonderful stone mustard cream sauce. Oh yeah, and toast with vanilla bean orange marmalade! This is one of the best dishes I think I've ever eaten. It was so flavorful and the combination of ingredients was perfect. We really enjoyed ourselves.
