Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse - HoustonGreat Food, Awesome Service!Went here for my girlfriend's birthday dinner. We sat by the window where we had a whole view of the Highland Village on Westheimer. Food was great, a bit pricey but definitely well worth it. I got the NY Steak and added the Au Poivre sauce to it was cooked to perfection. Truffled Mac and Cheese is a must have and Crab Cakes were DELICIOUS!!! Crabs paired really well with my steak.

Our waiter was very attentive. Both my husband and I got the filet mignon and it was outstanding. I got the coffee rub on my filet and my husband got his gorgonzola crusted. Both were deslih. Made good suggestions for desert sharing. She also di not "over-hover" the table.

So glad we did! There is a new manager now and our waiter. Daniel, could not have done anything more to make our lunch fun, pleasant, and, of course, delicious. To top it off at the end of our lunch, presented both of is with a complimentary piece of birthday cake, and it wasn't even our birthday(s).
