Skylight GardensGreat Birthday Dinner!We took our daughter for her birthday dinner here along with two of her friends (all are graduating from UCLA this year). Our daughter chose Skylight Gardens for her birthday dinner as it was a restaurant in Westwood that she had not tried. We started with drinks and two orders of calamari at the bar during happy hour. The prices were very reasonable and the calamari was excellent. We moved on to the dining room for dinner and each of us ordered different pasta dishes. Our daughter had the pasta sampler (a great way to try three different selections from so many choices.) All of them were great! We really enjoyed our dinner.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a find! Only downside, at 9:30 pm they started clearing all the tables and were stacking them. Kind of odd as there were many parties still finishing dinner. Forget Tanino's and Palomino, if you're looking for a place with spot-on authentic Italian come here. Ask for the Atrium and enjoy the amazing skylight views at dusk. Would definitely recommend to any and all.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMOh, we haven't been to theOh, we haven't been to the 'Gardens' since it was Gardens on Glendon. They didn't do much to re-make it as Skylight. It still has the famous Guacamole and the bar scene is still great. The restaurant wasn't as full--so I hope it fills up as this location and that restaurant, whatever the name, is a mainstay in Westwood!
