They had a great brunch beautifully laid out. Constantly refreshing empty dishes or dishes that had been there for a while. Waitress service was fantastic, speedy, polite and friendly. It is a "Fine Diner" for sure...great atmosphere, ambience, and the service is spot on. The contemporary decor provides a great atmosphere, and the entire staff was cordial, efficient and highly knowledgeable . The steamed mussels and salad to start were excellent. The bolognese pasta dish was prepared perfectly. Ended the dinner with the chocolate lava cake. Superb. I work in Jersey City, the spring is here for a stroll on the boardwalk, and no reason not to visit Skylark again and again.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AM
