Our server was perfect.....attentive but did not hover, ensuring we enjoyed our appetizer, and our drinks were replenished timely. One person's steak was overcooked, which they addressed quickly. A little disappointing as she had to wait for about 10 min while we were eating, but the meal was incredibly tasty. Order the chocolate lava cake. Delicious. A little slow bringing the coffee and tea afterwards, but they were very busy and plenty of larger groups in our section. Only significant issue was the bill, which was somehow combined with a portion from the next table. We had to send the bill back twice for correction. Skylark provides a diverse menu of fine foods that are made by a master chef and with high quality ingredients. The contemporary decor provides a great atmosphere, and the entire staff was cordial, efficient and highly knowledgeable . The steamed mussels and salad to start were excellent. The bolognese pasta dish was prepared perfectly. Ended the dinner with the chocolate lava cake. Superb.
