SkyCity Restaurant at the Space NeedleView labelsFabulous view but wish we had had a legend telling us what we were seeing5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat BrunchWe had a great time having brunch here! Food was great and the view second to none!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat view! This is a very memorable experience! The menu is limited, but the food is great! Definitely worth the wait for a window seat to see the fun things that circle around as the restaurant rotates. Must do activity for any one time visits to Seattle!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMReally good and attentiveReally good and attentive service. Have now been here for dinner, brunch and lunch and has been delicious every time. Highly recommended to friends and family and I look forward to my next chance to go again. Slightly pricy but the fact that cost includes the Space Needle observatory tour makes the cost very reasonable.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I chose SkyCityMy wife and I chose SkyCity Restaurant for our "monthly date night" without our kiddo. We have lived in Seattle now for almost 3 years and had never gone to the restaurant or observation deck at the Space Needle; so we decided it was time. The check-in process was easy, the view was great (especially on a clear evening) and the staff was wonderfully helpful and courteous. SkyCity is definitely a special occasion restaurant, but did not have a "stuffy" feel to it.
The food was amazing and the wine list was great with a nice selection of local, domestic and international choices. I definitely recommend SkyCity to Seattle visitors and locals alike!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing view, great food....Amazing view! We saw all of Seattle from our dinner table. There was a photographer that took our picture, and it was free to email the picture to our email address or facebook account.
I had the 12oz NY Strip, it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The grilled tomato with feta cheese was a perfect side, but the fries were not that great. The waiter was very informative of the Seattle area, and the restaurant very appropriately serves Starbucks coffee.
Definitely a must do if you are in the Seattle area! It's reservation only, and they fill up quickly!4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMNever fails to deliver awesomeNever fails to deliver awesome service and awesome food4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful spot for celebratingWonderful spot for celebrating a special occasion, such an our anniversary. Downside is the noise. We were surprised by the number of loud children in our area, given the prices and adult-oriented menu. The food is very good, but pricey.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMA must visit.Unbelievable food, service, and ambiance. A must for anyone visiting the city who wants an outstanding meal with an outstanding view and unbelieable martinis.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMOur trip to Seattle was madeOur trip to Seattle was made that much more enjoyable by our luncheon visit to the SkyCity Restaurant at the Space Needle on April 18. The view from the top on a clear day is absolutely awesome. The menu and wine list were quite acceptable and we enjoyed our food and service as much as the beautiful view. However, with only one elevator, waiting to go back down requires a somewhat lengthy wait at times. Overall, a nice experience. Thanks.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall the service and foodOverall the service and food were wonderful. They called us ahead and arranged for a balloon decoration and sparkling cider for a 13th birthday. The only negative was that the kid menu was really for kids in elementary school. There was not a menu selection that was appropriate for an older kid. The steak for him was great, but we had to have the wine sauce removed as it was not something that tasted good to a kid. For adults, the food was spectacular. Especially loved the sweet potato and crab cake starters. We would go there again for a celebration. We will just ask more questions if we bring a youth with us to eat.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMFood as good as the view.Expensive, but the perfect place to go with family from out o town. Someone must get the Orbiter dessert, great fun. Bring your camera.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWas here years ago and thoughtWas here years ago and thought the food was just ok, this time the food and service was fantastic!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMVisiting from San DiegoExceptional service, great food ... Go with the specials, they were excellent4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMMy son an I had a wonderfulMy son an I had a wonderful time. It was a great mail bonding time.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMYou pay for the ambianceThe short ribs were fantastic. No complaints there. In fact, I don't really mind paying $40-$50 for a main course if the meal is that good.
The issue I have are the starters. A thin crust flat bread for $14 where each person gets a tiny slice...that's about $4 for two bites. The menu would benefit from some mid-range priced items, especially if they continue to welcome families.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMSkycity - great food and viewsWhat a great way to see the beautiful city of Seattle and enjoy wonderful food! Request a table next to a window for the best views of the city. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the view was incredible.4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have done brunch here aWe have done brunch here a few times and each time it gets better. The view is amazing and the food is great! I definitely recommend signing up for the celebration club so that you can get a good deal for birthdays and anniversaries.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went In on a Saturday forWe went In on a Saturday for a 2:15 reservation. When handed the menu we thought we had the wrong one, it was mainly breakfast items. I would of expected at 2:15 on a weekend we would of seen more salads and sandwiches even burgers... We did settle for the one chicken main dish. It's three courses, first course we had a Caesar salad, we took off the anchovy. Salad was good, crisp and tasty, chicken was good, not dry. And cheesecake was great. Service stared out good but increasingly got slow as food arrived I had to ask for tea refills twice.and asked for no anchovy on salad but it was on there he rarely came by-. Other than that you get enough food to fill you up and the view on a blue sky day was fabulous3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMFun for special occasionsScene is great, food a little hit or miss. I had the tuna and it was excellent, but the croquette sides & pistou were very bland. My wife had the pork chop and while the hash and sauce were great, the pork was overdone and tough. Skip the "gnocchi" appetizer - the mushrooms and blueberry sauce were great but the gnocchi themselves were underseasoned and nondescript. Service, however, was excellent.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMI wonderful way to have aI wonderful way to have a very relaxed meal with a wonderful 360 degree fantistic view.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMvery nice dinner at the veryvery nice dinner at the very nice spot of Seattle.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMI love great food!I just sold my business of 15 years, what better way to celebrate with the new owner. Enjoying the view and the atmosphere. We won't forget this one.3/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ExperienceIf you come to Seattle, you have to eat at the Skyview at least once - fabulous dining experience. We went for dinner and the view was excellent as was our waiter John. Food was flavorful and tastefully presented. Of course, the pricetag is high, but both the food, the ambiance and the service make it all worthwhile. You won't be disappointed.2/24/2013 12:00:00 AMNot too bad.Food is Ok but the best part is the view and the setting. the Ambiance was just outstanding. Food could be better but overall thought it was pretty darn good.1/1/0001 4:00:00 PM
