  • "Good food, great view, wonderful service. Special thanks to Heinz at the reservation desk today."

  • "This was an item on our bucket list after having lived there 14 years ago but not having the opportunity of experiencing it at that time. We were finally able to enjoy during our recent visit. The staff was excellent and didn't mind answering questions about local attractions and views. Our party included 2 couples (ourselves and our in-laws) with the need for extra time in navigating to our table and the staff was very accommodating. We DEFINITELY recommend putting this on your list of must-sees while visiting Seattle."

  • "This is an experience that should be enjoyed by everyone. It is a unique American treasure and the food is very good."

  • "An excellent place to dine yet inexpensive. You are treated very nicely and warmly. We came as a family of four from Calgary not knowing what to expect in such a crowded city of Seattle but to our awe, we had a special exclusive treatment with just a little to spend for a top class dinning experience. Just be smart enough to book your spot online before arrival-That was awesome!"

  • "View was fantastic, staff was helpful and friendly, and food was delicious. Loved it!"

  • "No doubt this is the best restaurant in the city with the best view. Fortunately we went on a clear day and we had spectacular views of all of Seattle as well as Mt. Rainier. The food, although quite expensive, was actually pretty good. I would highly recommend this place for special occasions and romantic dinners."

  • "It took 52 years for me to get here, but it was well worth it!"

  • "We love the SkyCity Restaurant. The food is superb and offers many foods from the Northwest. The service is always excellent, and the professional waiters do a great job of suggesting items to order. It's also a great value - for just a little more than the admission price for the Space Needle, you can enjoy a wonderful meal in the rotating restaurant that provides unparalled views of metro-Seattle."

  • "Everyone should have the experience of eating at the Sky City Restaurant. Built for the 1962 world's Fair, it still seems sixties and fun. The elevator ride and revolving restaurant still excite. The food is expensive and just average. Hamburgers and sandwiches are huge. I would recommend sharing your main meal, then sharing appetizers. keep in mind that diners must spend at least $25.00 per person. Visitors love this space Needle. Make a reservation and enjoy the ride."

  • "We had a beautiful day for lunch with a clear view of Seattle. Our servers were helpful and happy, patient and relaxed but still attentive and professional."

  • "This was one of the most amazing dinners we have had had in our lives. Everything was perfect. The view was incredible and so was the food. The service was awesome!"

  • "My evening at The Space Needle was perfect. My friend was visiting from Oklahoma & wanted to take me to the Space Needle for my Birthday dinner. We had delicious crab cakes to start, she had the salmon filet and I enjoyed the scallops. The food was cooked perfectly & you really can't beat the view. This was by far the most expensive meal I have ever eaten but it was so memorable and scrumptious. We also received 2 complimentary photos during the meal which was a nice touch. We had a great experience!"

  • "We had only a few hours to see as much of Seattle as possible and so Dinner at the Space Needle was the PERFECT answer! The view was awesome, the food was delicious, and all of the wait staff were professional, friendly, and informative. Highly Recommend it!!!"

  • "I've been to the Space needle observation deck several times however this was my first and my wife's first time to the restaurant on our 1 year wedding anniversary. Experience is great but the food is mediocre. My wife had the Wild king salmon and that was decent. I had the American Kobe New York Strip, sorry, but I can cook better steak then that. Definitely not worth the $64 steak, choose something else! Overall is was a great experience, food prices are high because you are also paying for the scenic view, the price includes access to the observation deck as well."

  • "Absolutely amazing! Food was incredible. Nice selections. My 11-year old ordered a filet - and are everything. My 13-year old ordered the lamb - and ate everything as well. They give the kids post-it's to write notes and let others respond. Kids had a BLAST! We were there for 2 hours and not a single complaint from the kids - no asking if we were done yet. :-) DEFINITELY one of our favorite things we did while visiting Seattle."

  • "We expected to be charmed by the view, and were not expecting to be wowed with the food. The experience of turning slowly to view the entire city of Seattle - three revolutions - was thrilling, absolutely thrilling and great fun. The brunch, however, was outstanding as was the service. Meals generally in tourist spots such as this disappoint. SkyCity bowled us over with the flavor, quality and presentation of the brunch. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and worth every penny. Go there!"

  • "Of course the view is fantastic, but the food was lousy. It was very overpriced, $48.95 a person for brunch, and we really didn't like what we got. Our waiter seemed put-out when my husband asked for some items left out of his omelet. My French toast had a blob of chocolate mousse on top. Apparently it was sitting under the heat lamps for too long and most of it was melted, so I had mousse soup on my plate. Very unappetizing. I suggest just going to the skydeck and skip the restaurant."

  • "This restaurant was really all about the views. The amazing 360 degree views of Seattle alone are worth the price of admission. The waiter who served our party was very hospitable and knew quite a bit about the menu selection. From the moment we exited the elevator into the restaurant to the time we left our seats, the atmosphere was very elegant and absolutely perfect for a romantic date or a special family occasion. I would highly recommend going to this restaurant at least once, especially if you've never visited the Space Needle before. Also, the Lunar Orbiter dessert is a fun experience; Google it if you've never heard about it."

  • "I was on the fence about coming here. Something told me it might be a bit touristy ( well, it is..but...they deliver ), but decided to go ahead and go, it was our anniversary dinner and we were in Seattle from out of town - Orlando...I thought it would be stupid to not at least give it a go. I am so glad we did, and glad we made reservations. We had a spectacular dinner and of course the view...was just incredible. We really enjoyed our evening at the Needle and would most definitely recommend it. We also managed to be there on the same night as Seattle Bite Night, so we got to enjoy that atmosphere as well. Our sever Ryan was also above the top. He was extremely helpful!!! Thank you Ryan, and Seattle!!!"

  • "I booked lunch time on the weekend. The occasion was my husband's birthday. Our 2 adult daughters came from out of town. We had a wonderful time. From the appetizer, main and dessert all the dishes were presented exquisitely and tasted delicious! The ambiance was perfect. We enjoyed the views and at the same time could have a conversation so we could hear each other. This for sure is a place to go back!"

  • "Great food, great scenery! Always a place I take my out of town guests"

  • "Surprisingly good food for a sight. The view is, of course, one of the best in Seattle, but the food is actually good on its own merit. Expect a meal to be a bit steep."

  • "We went to the Sky Restaurant for a Saturday brunch. In addition to the normal brunch items we were offered a tomato bisque soup and prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus, which we opted for. The food was excellent. The view in the revolving restaurant breathtaking. It takes about 50 minutes for the restaurant to make a full revolution which makes for a leisurely meal."

  • "Food was comparable to Denny's, with better presentation, and 5 times the price. However, the view was awesome!"

  • "I really enjoyed this restaurant. The views are wonderful and the entire restaurant revolves giving you a 360-degree view of the Seattle skyline. The notes on the windows are a cute touch and can entertain the children if you decide to bring them."

  • "I had several young teenagers with me and the lunch menu was too adult for them and they were too old for the kids menu."

  • "The view from SkyCity is obviously first rate. The day we were there in mid-July the weather was perfect. We had a clear view of the Cascades, Seattle skyline, Mt Rainer, the sound, the Olympics, and north Seattle. The food at view restaurants is often mediocre so I was delighted when our appetizers, salad, and entrees were all terrific. These guys can cook. The wine was not distinguished but not bad. The service was both friendly and knowledgeable. There was plenty of time between courses. Oddly, this was an advantage. It gave us more time to enjoy the spectacular and constantly changing view. I recommend SkyCity for special occasions because it is a substantial investment. Nonetheless, we look forward to going back."

  • "The service was great, but the food was sub par and overpriced. My advice would be to go to the space needle for the general tour and eat somewhere else."

  • "The view was awesome! Food was fantastic ! It was our first visit but we would go back again if we were in the area."

  • "Brought out of town friends as they wanted to go to the space needle. Almost the same price to have a meal as to pay for tickets to just go to the observation deck. Food is over priced and too fancy. I am allergic to dairy and nuts and had just a limited choice of items. View is great. Even living here it was nice to see the city from a bird's eye view. Service was very good."

  • "It is tradition in our family to take each grandchild to the Space Needle in celebration of their 13th birthday. My mother did this for all her grandchildren and it was now my turn to continue the tradition with my first grandchild. When I read the reviews on Open Table I was a bit skeptical as some opinions were less than "appetizing". After our superbly prepared meal was enjoyed with great delight I concluded that those reviews couldn't be further from the truth. Wait time was between 5 and 10 minutes. The wait staff was spot on and our kunch was positively scrumptious. I can't wait until the next grandchild turns 13 in 2 more years. Thank you Space Needle staff!"

  • "Outstanding food...views and top notch service. The only drawback is the high cost. Of course it includes the cost of the elevator ride to the top with a private line and elevator. So it's a combination deal that costs a minimum of $25 per person. It's worth it for a special occasion on a nice day with views."
