We were there during The Big Taste of Calgary and so we only chose from the fixed price menu options, I can't speak for what the full menu is like. The food was really tasty if perhaps a bit forgettable - my son had a burger, I had a chicken BLT. Of course the reason you go to this restaurant isn't the food, it's the view! Even though this is a higher end restaurant, they seemed extremely child friendly, many other families were there with younger children than my son. The servers were exceptionally friendly and warm. We went for lunch during the Big Taste week and were delightedly surprised that the menu offered quite a choice for only $25.
The first plate (tomato soup or salad) was very light which was a great idea because the entree is a very decent size (Fettuccini). Finally the desserts were exquisite: strawberry cheesecake and lemon tart.

The atmosphere was quiet enough that we never had to speak over anything and the service was impeccable. Our waitress was very well versed with explaining the restaurants dishes to us. All round great romantic experience and the food was excellent. It's kind of pricey but what you get for it is amazing anyways. I would go here again for any special occasion.8/3/2013 12:00:00 AMFog didn't deter great evening.I went to the Sky 360 Restaurant after making reservations the previous weekend. Even the reminder system was professional and didn't seem to over the top. Although the fog didn't help with the view the rest of the evening was fantastic. The food, extensive wine menu and deserts were excellent. The Mrs. had the fettuccini w/ carbonara (which was a tad runny) which tasted splendid. I selected the Chefs daily special which that day turned out to be lamb which I found to be quite tasty with the presentation being wonderful. Dessert was grand as well and I found myself to be quite satisfied with the experience overall. Recently had a wonderful mother's day breakfast with our family which included our grandchildren age 4 years and 9 months. The food was wonderful and they catered to the little ones so they felt important. The service, food and view was fantastic - very relaxing way. We have been there many times for breakfast haven't tried evening but heard the food, sunset views over the mountains are romantic. We have recently retired and relocated to Alberta to be closer to our kids and their families so an evening sitting at "the top of the world" is on our "bucket list".5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAnniversary Gem!My husband and I chose Sky360 for our first anniversary and it did not disappoint. The food was outstanding, especially the lamb. Our server was extremely knowledgable about the food selections so that made the dinner choice much easier. They even gave us a "Happy Anniversary" chocolate with our dessert!
It was Mothers Day so there were more children there than normal, even when we arrived at 7:30. We were unfortunately sat next to a table with really rowdy young children but once they left half way through our meal, the experience was extremely enjoyable.

Drawbacks - why pile all patrons into one area instead of spreading tables around for privacy? Overall, our Grad felt very spoiled and we all enjoyed ourselves.
Note: parents with very young children, please feed them before you bring them out to a late-evening meal and bring some toys, etc. with you to keep them occupied. We had the Striploin steak and it was fabulous! The staff was incredible - great waitress who knew the menu and wine list inside out, and at least 2 other people who came to our table throughout the evening to make sure our meal was to our satisfaction. The view was breathtaking and overall the ambiance and delicious food was easily worth the fairly high prices. I like how the menu referenced environmentally friendly practices. They even brought my significant other a small cup of ice cream with a candle in it (to celebrate her birthday). I expected a good view, but was surprised by so much more; great food, fantastic service, and attention to detail.
Our server was exceptional; she noticed our daughter's nervousness at the heighth and rotation of the room, and immediately eased her mind by moving our table closer to the center of the restaurant AND given this 13 year old adult-like individual attention through the entire meal. The wine recommended was perfect for our meal... all in all, a delightful experience. Although expensive, it was a memorable Big Night Out and good value for a special occasion.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
