A decent though not outstanding Indian restaurant from a food standpoint. Good service and friendly staff. I just thought the food was not up to the standards of other Indian fare I have tried. It was satisfactory but fell a bit short.

The food was great and the service beyond compare (excellent). They had gluten free naan which wasn't even on the menu and wow what a pleasant surprise that was! Only complaint was that the wine by the glass options were few, and the pinot noir and the zinfandel we tried were both below par. But the food was great and the service very friendly, helpful, and professional. We would recommend (but maybe bring your own wine and just pay the very reasonable $12 corkage fee).

As far a I can tell this may be only Indian restaurant in Healdsburg, perhaps even in all of Sonoma County. It is a fresh, new place offering a nice assortment of Indian dishes. I'm not enough of a specialist to know whether the emphasis is south vs north Indian, but the food is well prepared and well presented. The diner is given the choice of intensity in the spicing. I enjoyed the spicy versions, although the heat was not overwhelming. One has to abuse the food to gin up a real heat in this cuisine. Healdsburg is a kind of funky destination. It has a number of upscale places, but there are also unpretentious elements. Sizzling Tandoor is in the moderate range. Access is very easy with dedicated parking and wheelchair-friendly walkways

First time to try Indian food, and we really liked it. We had the lunch buffet, and there were lots of interesting things to try. There was a coconut rice pudding on the salad bar that was yummy. The naan (bread) was delicious and we ate that with some of their sauces. The entrees were both chicken...one roasted and the other was chicken vindaloo with potatoes and curry. Everything was seasoned perfectly...not too much curry.

We chose this restaurant from your list having never travelled to this area. we were pleasantly surprised with the building, the ambiance and the welcome. the food was tasty, although we had an incorrect appetizer brought to our table. I asked for my curry to be made hot but it hardly had any heat. My guests meal was beautiful and the presentation was great. The final check was a little more than we anticipated, but overall It was a great experience, it's a shame the restaurant is 90 miles from home or we would certainly return.

Great food freshly spiced, accesible winelist, pleasant atmosphere with attentive service, the location is a little off for the Healdsburg area. Felt a bit like a SOCAL strip-mall from the outside & was too far from the town center which gives it a bit of a 'ghost town' feel even on a Friday Night. Either way we thoroughly enjoyed the menu & service. Worth the drive from Calistoga & we will return.

We Love Indian food & have a favorite place back home in Chicago that we frequent & hold as a standard to any other that we experience. This place failed by comparison & was over-priced.

overall good food and atmosphere. We sat near the entrance so kept getting a blast of cold air any time someone came in or out ! We would dine there again. The wine was excellent for the price - buy two glasses get the rest of the bottle free !

Excellent value, especially if you seslct the special menue which comes with soup, salad, entree with rice, nan, and more. Only $19.95 each. Portions are generous enough for most. On Valentine's Day, a special dessert was included. Highly recommend if you like authentic Indian food.
