"Excellent Service and food. The view is amazing. Sixteen is one of the top 5 restaraunts I've been to in Chicago. Food portions were excellent, we had the Wagyu beef and butter poached Lobster, both were phenomenal. The wine list is extensive and amazing, the mixed drinks were excellent as well. Overall a phenomenal culinary and visual experience, that I would recommend to anyone."

"Not really worth the price. The atmosphere was a bit stuffy. Kind of a bit fake and pretentious, but maybe good if you are trying to impress somebody."

"Outrageously expensive for poor food and service. 5 stars for attitude which was awful. Never go back and tell all our friends to skip.
Couldn't get a 7:30 reservation. They insisted it could only to be 7:15 and the place was mostly empty all the time we were there. Now I get why. Won't last"

"If a truly memorable dining experience is your objective, 16 is the spot. Great friendly non pretentious service. Fantastic food, over the top but not too over the top pricing. Excellent wine list and just an all around great restaurant."

"Unbelievable experience! In addition to the incredibly attentive service, the food really can't be described adequately. The chef has combined such complex and subtle flavors in each course that the night felt like a series of delicious surprises. Definintely go.....you'll never forget the feeling of being IN the Chicago skyline at night - truly marvelous!"

"This was a treat for members of my research group here to attend a scientific meeting (4 of us) and a visitor/collaborator from Boston (who is French). All of us tried different appetisers and main courses. All dishes played harmoniously on the palate, as always. Favourites included pea soup (with their usual twist), white and green asparagus "tart". Favourite main courses were the poached dover sole (how can poached things taste this good?), lobster and bass. As always the food was in harmony, of the right portion and service impeccable."

"After two years of not eating here, I was stunned that the food had transformed into highly creative and extremely delicious. My white and green asparagus "tarte" wasn't the usual - there was no tart crust but instead the play on words - shaved asparagus, greens and a cheese crisp (ie the "tart"). My friend had the split pea soup - again out of the ordinary - and served with a lobster tit bit. We then had the poached dover sole and sea bass. Again, exquisite - all the flavours were in harmony and sang on your taste buds. The sommelier paired this with a Hungarian chenin blanc. Good pairing. Certainly fit for foodies."

"Celebrated our anniversary with a Trump spa day, and early evening dinner at Sixteen.
The service was incredible - friendly, gracious, but not pushy. My wife had the Chef's tasting, and was really pleased with the meal quality and diversity. She has never had LOIN OF RED FALLOW DEER, but was surprised at how well prepared it was. Her courses were all unique and very good.

I had the RIBEYE OF AMERICAN WAGYU BEEF (FLAVORS OF BÉARNAISE, w/CRISP SHALLOTS, POTATO PUREÉ, & FRESH HORSERADISH) from the menu. The steak was very good, potato puree was very good. But remember this is fine dining, so if you are expecting steak portion size of a Capitol Grill, you might be disappointed.

But, your wife will really appreaciate you though!"

"The food was way overpriced and especially for the portions they provided. Will never go their again . The scene could have been nice if we were in the main room!!!!! Only nice thing they did was a birthday lemon cake for my wife but overall not good experience besides being with her that night."
