The food was excellent and they were able to handle pre-Pirates and Pre-Penguin crowds without service or food quality problems. The pregamers did make it very noisy downstairs, a little less so on the second floor. This year I needed a new, low stress place to take Mom for Mother's Day. I was able to reserve the table, and when we arrived early, they seated us almost immediately. The meal was pleasant, and the wait staff was attentive without being overbearing. We had Calamari & Shrimp for an appetizer, we all ordered Gourmet Burgers [highly unusual for us to all order the same thing] and Buffalo chicken mac & cheese dinner to split 4 ways.
Everything was excellent! -the burgers may have been the best I have ever had in Pittsburgh. They are topped with capicola,mozzarella,a fried egg an a great tangy BBQ vinaigrette.
I only ate half - because I was full {took it home and enjoyed it the next day for lunch]
The Mac and Cheese is super tasty, rich and satisfying...don't know who could eat one themself for dinner but wow, you cant go wrong with that dish.
