Diner Reviews
  • "My wife and I eat at a lot of good places, but the food at Siro was on a higher level! The stuffed zucchini blossoms were so well done and the octopus was in the words of my wife, amazing! The pasta was great and sauce, outstanding! Save room for the desert!"

  • "Really great fare for a hotel lobby. Tasty meals, good wine list; very Italian. Be sure to make a reservation, or you will wait 45 minutes or longer."

  • "Think you are in another typical Marriott restaurant? well think again!!! While it is a very rustic feel, the food was real Italian food, from tapas style so that everyone at the table can taste all these Italian treats to the artichoke that was cooked to perfection. My husband had the veal and it was melt in your mouth! Our server was very educated in wine and the best dishes on the menu to the deserts( zeppoli's) a must have!!!!Congrats to the chef. Don't miss this gem as you don't need to leave the hotel!!!"

  • "We went to Siro for Mother's Day. Had a great meal with some unique dishes. Service was very good. All around enjoyable meal. "

  • "The pizza we had there was good but one of the pies was a bit burnt on the side. The big green salad bowl was a big disappointment. It was just a a big handful of spring leaf lettuces in a bowl with nothing more and was overpriced. The service was fine. I don't think I would return to try the other items on the menu. "

  • "Great place. Our plane arrived 2 hrs prior to the reservation. We thought we will never make it. We jumped into our rental car & rushed into the hotel just on time to our reservation. Our experience was a relief after 7 hrs travel..."

  • "Great spot for a date night while on vacation. We were staying on site, so it was nice to not drive. My wife eats gluten free we thought we'd give Siro a try. Jake was our waiter and was awesome from the start. He was very prompt when we needed something (like drinks), patient, yet attentive. He knew the menu very well and made great recommendations for dinner once we told him what we were considering. The food was fresh and delicious. Nice mix of menu choices and good for small plates or multi-course meal. Drink selection is extensive as well. The atmosphere was good even though it was near the hotel lobby area; not too loud, cool setting and decorum. Seemed family friendly too. Best meal we had while on vacation!"

  • "We were on vacation and dining with our 3 kids. Our oldest has Celiac Disease and the Siro staff was wonderful at helping him choose and have a safe and yummy meal. Our other 2 boys were very happy with their meals(and they are picky eaters). My husband and I were so intrigued by all the selections for appetizers, that we ate tapas style. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and lovely. The desserts were amazing as well. The food aside, the service was outstanding. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. The entire experience was perfect from start to finish! We loved it so much, we ate there 2x during our stay. "

  • "Everything has the smell of Italy, comfortable and kid friendly! Price is a little expensive for this kind of restaurant."

  • "We had a group that expanded from 7 to 14 people...they were very accommodating with our big group! Wait staff was knowledgable and very patient. Food was excellent! Would definitely recommend!"

  • "I had a biz dinner here. Server owners old the special...which was striped bass and was not that great...it was under seasoned and a little too crusty on edges. Charging us $4 for bread was simply ridiculous!!! Wine list is not impressive for an Italian restaurant."

  • "This restaurant intends to be an Italian gem but fell short when items were brought out that didn't match the menu description. I will say they allowed us to return the items and made the dishes to order. Thanks for accommodating siro!"

  • "We dined at Siro 2 times in February and again now in March 2 more times. We really enjoy and trust this restaurant because the food is always delicious and absolutely fresh. They even source local growers for the freshest produce and items. Every single meal we have ordered has been mouthwatering. The ambiance is very pleasant and attractive. Service is always great. All our servers were friendly and courteous. Saeed remembered us from February and came by to say hello. Manager always came to say greet us and to make sure we were taken care of well. One of the times, they prepared a special cake for our little child's birthday and made sure all the food he was having was allergy-free. Highly recommend Siro. Will be back. ENJOY!"

  • "Very good and enjoyable but like all restaurants here they move you through too quickly."

  • "Although convenient to those attending a conference, the food was good but it took quite some time to be offered dessert and then even longer to receive the checks. Had a drink at the bar the previous night and was pleasantly surprised by barkeeps knowledge of liquor."

  • "Really enjoyed the small plates. Gave our group a real chance to try the menu of the restaurant. Not only great food but the wine list was spectacular in the selection of Italian wines and what a value. Our group of 6 had 2 bottles of wine, numerous small plates, coffee and dessert for less than $50 each including tip."

  • "Very wide ranging devious menu. Party of ten tried most everything. The Salumi plate, harvest plate, wedge salad were outstanding mussels, wild boar, and main courses were equally good"

  • "We read and heard rave reviews about Siro. All met hype was worth it. The food was absolutely fresh, good quality and absolutely delicious. Our server, Saeed, was kind and made sure we were well taken care of. Even our little child's special meal was one of the best and freshest kids meals we've ordered. The atmosphere is warm, hip with a rustic twist. Experience was so good that we went back the next evening for an encore dinner. And yes, saw Saeed. Highly recommend if you are staying at the Marriott World center or in the Orlando area. Make reservations! We will be visiting again in March."

  • "Although a little over-priced, the food was good. The fresh pasta was terrific. I was surprised that an Italian restaurant did not offer complimentary bread - $4 was a bit much. But we enjoyed our meal and the service was very good. It was a good option for dining at the hotel while we were at a conference - we did go twice."

  • "As with most resort hotels this place is over priced. Portions were on small side. Had to pay extra for bread - imagine that at an Italian restaurant ! Certainly not a destination restaurant in my opinion."

  • "Big improvement from the former restaurant. Great wine list. The food is very good but I was disappointed by the 2 tiny pieces of kale mixed in with the bowl of romaine and dubbed a "kale" salad."

  • "This was our first visit to Siro. The bar side is very nice, and so is the ambiance. The menu is solid, but poorly executed. We shared numerous dishes. Most were either inadequately seasoned or "overdressed" with relatively flavorless olive oil. The wine list is overpriced. Our server was inattentive and condescending. Very uninspiring restaurant, but I'd give it one more test before dismissing it. There is potential here, so hopefully they work on some of the problems."

  • "All the foods are wonderful, but the truffle ricota mezzalunas are espetacular"

  • "Artichoke salad was too cheesy. Fish dinner was fine. The roast steak was very good, one of the best. The side dish was not tasty and the salad greens was just that, Red Lobster is better. The dining room Christmas music was too loud when restaurant was empty. The table light was too dim. The parking garage ticket did not work when we drove away and had to get garage attendant to open the gate."

  • "This was our first visit to Siro. It was wonderful. Everyone in our party got something different and we also ordrred the tapas. We would definitely go back!"

  • "We were staying in a vacation club resort on Marriott property and had originally planned to go off-site for a nice meal. We saw that Marriott provided transportation to the Marriott World Center so we looked at their restaurants and decided to try Siro. It is Italian/Mediterranean with tapas or small plates available. The Wedge salad was very well done, not creamy dressing, so it's a different flair, kind of deconstructed. The Eggplant Caponata was very tasty and with crisp toast and to finish I had the Margherita pizza. Just enough to fill me up. They were preparing for a large group to come in, so the staff was slightly distracted. It is in the Marriott World Center Hotel, which lives off of conferences, so call ahead."

  • "We were asked if we wanted bread as she forgot to ask earlier but she didn't mention anything about a charge for it and the bread was hard and not very good at all. Also left out my order and when everything came I asked her if my steak was coming she is like yes of course. Medium or rare??? So she forgot to add it to my order and didn't apologize. Was not to happy."

  • "Our overall experience at Siro was poor from start to finish. We dined early (5:30) so there were only a few tables occupied. Our first table was located directly below a speaker that was so loud that it would have been difficult to have a conversation. We asked to be moved and were relocated to a table near the entrance that was quieter. The music selection was fine, it was the volume that was the issue. Ordered several appetizers and each was very salty. There was a long pause before our entrees arrived. My entry was smothered in Parmesan cheese without a mention in the menu description. They did make another entree for me but my wife was already finished. We then waited over twenty minutes only to have to ask for our check."

  • "Not what we expected for a top rated facility. More of a pub appearance with food to match. Appetizers very good. The mussels and veal meatballs were delicious. Entree of clams with fettuccine lacked flavor."
    Dined on 10/5/2013
  • "Food was not that great - extremely salty! Took forever to get the crispy chicken thigh appetizer. Service was a bit slow!"

  • "Surprising good for a hotel restaurant. The 2 of us treated ourselves using the $33 per person offer during September's Magical Dining event. Not only was the food delicious beyond belief, the presentation was fabulous. The offer included a shared cheese board, individual appys, entree, and desserts. Too much to eat. We asked for 1 appitizer and 1 dessert "to go". Hannah was an exception server, very knowledgeable about the menu. She also helped us to select an inexpensive ($34) bottle of wine. If you go spend and extra $4 for the olives in warm olive oil. OMG! Afterwards, take a walk outside around "Falls", the pool bar. The only disappointment....no bread to sop up the juices."
