Diner Reviews
  • "Everytime we are in Vegas we come back. We like our waiter.....actually the entire waitstaff is so nice. Food is great."

  • "The food and ambience were great! Our main waiter was was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, but his assistant was a little too stuffy and didn't respond when he was thanked. Otherwise, I have no complaints!"

  • "This was our second time to dine at Sirio. Both times the food and service were excellent. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly every dish is delicious. Makes for a great meal."

  • "Went with my whole family of 8 to celebrate my girlfriends birthday and it was fantastic. Couple of excepts though. The scallops for your main dish are sharp as knife so be careful and the expresso is horrible. Vegas really can't make proper expresso I find."

  • "I recently entertained a customer from Chile, who was in Vegas with his wife and two teenaged children. We had dinner at Sirio-Aria and sat in the bar area (a bit better lit which I felt was more casual than the darker dining room). While my Spanish is okay, I struggle sometimes - imagine my delight that BOTH of our waiters heard us speaking Spanish and addressed my customer and his family only in Spanish. It certainly made it much more comfortable for them, and the waiters spoke with me in English - the perfect combination! On top of it, the food was delicious. If anything, it was served a bit quickly but we didn't specify, so if you are looking for a quick dinner as well, this is the place."

  • "I was disappointed with every aspect of this experience."

  • "Went for dinner before Zarkana, the staff was excellent. We asked for 2 entrees to share and they actually split the entrees and put them together so we each had a half portion of each meal. The food was amazing from the cabresse salad to the main course."
    Dined on 7/18/2014
  • "Food and service were both outstanding. The staff was attentive but not intrusive and the pacing of the courses was just right. Will not hesitate to eat at Sirio again."

  • "We had 6 different people come to our table for different functions and when it was time to get fresh ground pepper on our dinner no one was around. I don't like that concept, one competent waiter would be better. The food was under seasoned which is not cool for a Michelin restaurant."

  • "Do yourself a favor and dine here! A Vegas must for me... from now on! Unbelievable menu... One course more delicious than the next! Notable items... Beef Carpaccio... Caprese Salad... Diver Scallops w/Pancetta... Still dreaming of it! Featured starter...ricotta stuffed zucchini flowers. Service was outstanding, ambiance was excellent. Can't wait to return!"

  • "Worst meal I have had in Vegas. 6 women preferred same pasta dish and 5 sent it back. So salty and over cooked. Kraft dinner is better quality."

  • "Hard to find food without garlic-especially Pasta. Seating arrangement is poor and waiters are curt and unfriendly!"

  • "This was our third visit to Sirio, first one was awesome so that's why we went back. Second visit just like the third and last visit. Poor service, waiter did not give us the specials that we partially overheard from another waiter at a different table, never received bread until we asked for it when we received our salads-then the waiter seemed put out. Finished dishes remained at our table for long periods. At one point, our waiter disappeared for a long while. Not any of our dishes stood out or were worth mentioning. Too many other choices in Vegas to settle for a restaurant that doesn't care about service or properly training the waiters working for them. Won't be back."

  • "The food was quite good, elegant surroundings and comfortable furniture with competent service should have guaranteed a great dining experience. Unfortunately the loud music piped into the dining room and noise from the bar area made it difficult to appreciate the experience. What was the most disappointing aspect though was the stratospheric prices for ordinary wines. "

  • "We stayed at Aria for the first time and decided to try Sirio for italian. We go to a lot of 4 star resturants (3-4 dollar signs) in LA (home) - BOA, Fig & Olive Always accommodating. The WAITER was horrible! Didn't say hi. Just handed us the menus. We asked for milk for our toddler, he huffed, and said OK. Got us our drinks. We looked over the menu, and then asked if we could see about getting a small order for our toddler, and he huffed, and said $18 full price for her for side order of butter pasta. We said NO, and said for the check, he said he would talk to chef, and I said, no let me talk to manager. He said no, he will talk to chef. He accommodated with the pasta, but when I asked for the check, he brought a soda to charge extra. "

  • "On my last visit to Sirio, about a year ago, the food was good, but everything was over-salted for me. This time, everything was great, from pasta to entree. They had an osso bucco special, done perfectly, tender and served with risotto a la Milanese and fresh carrots. Sirio is back on my Vegas go-to list for sure."

  • "We were excited to go to a restaurant in the hotel we were staying at. The food at best was mediocre. We even had to send back two meals that were not edible (scallops and swordfish). The veal picatta was ordered by a couple of us and it tasted fine, but for the price...not worth it. The only upside was the service."

  • "Pros: Excellent, excellent pasta and preparation. Beautiful venue (you can sit and watch the food prep for your salads and appetizers). One of those "expensive but probably worth it" restaurants. Cons: Wine list is WAY overpriced. Only a few bottles under $100. But if you're interested in $5000 wines you won't find many other places, well, then, this is your place. Portions are very small. Excellent, but small. I don't understand this (you could double the size for maybe $2 in food cost), but don't go there if you're really hungry. "

  • "The wine prices did not fit relative to their meal prices. When you can get a meal for $24.00 you really do not want to spend $26 for a glass of wine. Only five red wines offered by the glass all of which where more than the meals. Asked for options, none offered. Take what is on the list or go without."

  • "Had a wonderful dinner here on a Thursday night. Wait staff was very attentive and accommodating. The one service negative is more so how they show drink specials. Putting an iPad on the table felt a little clunky and unorthodox. The food was fantastic. Caesar Salads had the perfect amount of dressing and fresh grated black pepper added a little pop. Swordfish was a good size and was slightly bland on it's own but had its flavor really brought out by the sauce it was served with. Very tender. The fettuccini carbonara was perfect. Pasta was incredibly fresh, each bite melted in my mouth. Wish we still had room for dessert, but unfortunately we didn't."

  • "I had the mushroom ravioli special which was so delicious. It comes with 5 huge pieces of ravioli stuffed with mushroom and other yumminess that I can't quite remember the exact ingredients. My boyfriend had the spaghetti with butter and wine sauce - he wasn't feeling well to begin with but said it was still delicious. My uncle had the porkroast and enjoyed it as well. For dessert we shared the bomboli - WOW it's doughy goodness with powdered sugar and comes with 3 dipping sauces. fig caramel, hazelnut chocolate and a lemon one. Very delicious. The waiter was very helpful in helping me find a wine to pair with my dish. If we are ever in Vegas again I will definitely have to go back."

  • "Choosing a location for dinner with my CEO is never easy, particularly when it's out of town and with other CxOs. I was so happy I chose Sirio at the Aria when recently in Las Vegas. As we entered my CEO noted "nice place" which was a great start, and it got better. Service was excellent -- wonderful menu and wine list but no pretension, and the staff knew how to come forward when needed and fade into the background the rest of the time. Food and ambience was outstanding."

  • "Extensive wine list, but the one bottle we wanted was sold out. The service was horribly slow. Pasta dish was very good. Wine Steward was terrible. Expected so much more from Aria - esp given the prices."

  • "Booked this restaurant for a business dinner. Service was slow food was excelent but i ordered the pappardelle and it was awesome but honestly why such a small plate for 20 something bucks? Its pasta!!! The steak from a friend looked very good (and big) but was more on the 35 bucks... Great place but could increase a little their portions...btw good selection of wines one 2004 nebiolo was on the 50's what i though was a good deal...thanks!"

  • "We stayed at the hotel next door and were looking for a good Italian place to eat nearby...we didn't know what to expect and were very please with the service, embiance and the quality of the food. They have a very long wine list ranging from $50 to well above $15,000, unfortunately not a lot below $100 but we managed to find an excellent one for $75."

  • "What truly made this dining experience exceptional was the server Maria and her assistant Abe. Attentive but not obnoxious. The food was wonderful. We ordered based on the recommendations of Maria. Excellent choices. We highly recommend Sirio if you want to be treated to an outstanding evening."

  • "I am giving this restaurant a "1" rating for one reason: We were charged an extra $10 for an "entree sized" secondi. I understand that at many Italian restaurants, secondi / pasta servings are smaller than a typical entree. However, the waiter did not mention there would be an additional fee when I ordered the pasta as my entree. Then we received the bill, which had an additoinal $10 fee. The menu is misleading, and I believe the management should clear this up, as it's an easy fix -- just add an additional price next to the secondi item (e.g., "$21 / $31"). I never like to see surprises on my bill, and this is no exception."

  • "If you like Italian this was is really good. Not really an innovative menu, just really good Italian food with plenty of choices and a good wine list. Sit near the kitchen and enjoy the sounds and smells that add much to the whole experience."

  • "Food was amazing. I had the Pasta and veal ragu and it was excellent. I was with a group of 6 and tried each dish and one was more amazing then the next. Would definitely go back again next time I'm in Las Vegas."

  • "The food was pretty good but not great and the service was really marginal across the board. Apathetic and inattentive wait staff. Have had better experiences at the adjacent two restaurants at Aria. There are too many very good Italian dining options on the strip to justify the lack of service here. Will go elsewhere for Italian next time in town."

  • "Waiter began by giving us an ipad to order wine with no explanation on what to do. He took order and never saw them again. Ordered fettuccini and can out so salty you could not eat it. Waiter said sorry never saw him again. A 2nd waiter cleared out dishes and offered no dessert menu and disappeared. 3rd waitress brought out check. Lousy food and lousy service. Very overpriced and very disappointed."

  • "Wine overpriced and food portions small. Octopus was tender and tasty, carpaccio needed evoo. Ceasar salad ok. Pasta dishes priced as entrees, but are considered starters. The homemade spaghetti was outstanding. Veal dishes were fine, but a bit bland. Service was attentive,"
