Do yourself a favor and dine here! A Vegas must for me... from now on! Unbelievable menu... One course more delicious than the next! Notable items... Beef Carpaccio... Caprese Salad... Diver Scallops w/Pancetta... Still dreaming of it! Featured starter...ricotta stuffed zucchini flowers. Service was outstanding, ambiance was excellent. Can't wait to return!

Worst meal I have had in Vegas. 6 women preferred same pasta dish and 5 sent it back. So salty and over cooked. Kraft dinner is better quality.

This was our third visit to Sirio, first one was awesome so that's why we went back. Second visit just like the third and last visit. Poor service, waiter did not give us the specials that we partially overheard from another waiter at a different table, never received bread until we asked for it when we received our salads-then the waiter seemed put out. Finished dishes remained at our table for long periods. At one point, our waiter disappeared for a long while. Not any of our dishes stood out or were worth mentioning. Too many other choices in Vegas to settle for a restaurant that doesn't care about service or properly training the waiters working for them. Won't be back.

The food was quite good, elegant surroundings and comfortable furniture with competent service should have guaranteed a great dining experience. Unfortunately the loud music piped into the dining room and noise from the bar area made it difficult to appreciate the experience. What was the most disappointing aspect though was the stratospheric prices for ordinary wines.

We stayed at Aria for the first time and decided to try Sirio for italian. We go to a lot of 4 star resturants (3-4 dollar signs) in LA (home) - BOA, Fig & Olive Always accommodating. The WAITER was horrible! Didn't say hi. Just handed us the menus. We asked for milk for our toddler, he huffed, and said OK. Got us our drinks. We looked over the menu, and then asked if we could see about getting a small order for our toddler, and he huffed, and said $18 full price for her for side order of butter pasta. We said NO, and said for the check, he said he would talk to chef, and I said, no let me talk to manager. He said no, he will talk to chef. He accommodated with the pasta, but when I asked for the check, he brought a soda to charge extra.

On my last visit to Sirio, about a year ago, the food was good, but everything was over-salted for me. This time, everything was great, from pasta to entree. They had an osso bucco special, done perfectly, tender and served with risotto a la Milanese and fresh carrots. Sirio is back on my Vegas go-to list for sure.

We were excited to go to a restaurant in the hotel we were staying at. The food at best was mediocre. We even had to send back two meals that were not edible (scallops and swordfish). The veal picatta was ordered by a couple of us and it tasted fine, but for the price...not worth it. The only upside was the service.

Pros: Excellent, excellent pasta and preparation. Beautiful venue (you can sit and watch the food prep for your salads and appetizers). One of those "expensive but probably worth it" restaurants. Cons: Wine list is WAY overpriced. Only a few bottles under $100. But if you're interested in $5000 wines you won't find many other places, well, then, this is your place. Portions are very small. Excellent, but small. I don't understand this (you could double the size for maybe $2 in food cost), but don't go there if you're really hungry.

The wine prices did not fit relative to their meal prices. When you can get a meal for $24.00 you really do not want to spend $26 for a glass of wine. Only five red wines offered by the glass all of which where more than the meals. Asked for options, none offered. Take what is on the list or go without.

Had a wonderful dinner here on a Thursday night. Wait staff was very attentive and accommodating. The one service negative is more so how they show drink specials. Putting an iPad on the table felt a little clunky and unorthodox. The food was fantastic. Caesar Salads had the perfect amount of dressing and fresh grated black pepper added a little pop. Swordfish was a good size and was slightly bland on it's own but had its flavor really brought out by the sauce it was served with. Very tender. The fettuccini carbonara was perfect. Pasta was incredibly fresh, each bite melted in my mouth. Wish we still had room for dessert, but unfortunately we didn't.

I had the mushroom ravioli special which was so delicious. It comes with 5 huge pieces of ravioli stuffed with mushroom and other yumminess that I can't quite remember the exact ingredients. My boyfriend had the spaghetti with butter and wine sauce - he wasn't feeling well to begin with but said it was still delicious. My uncle had the porkroast and enjoyed it as well. For dessert we shared the bomboli - WOW it's doughy goodness with powdered sugar and comes with 3 dipping sauces. fig caramel, hazelnut chocolate and a lemon one. Very delicious. The waiter was very helpful in helping me find a wine to pair with my dish. If we are ever in Vegas again I will definitely have to go back.

Choosing a location for dinner with my CEO is never easy, particularly when it's out of town and with other CxOs. I was so happy I chose Sirio at the Aria when recently in Las Vegas. As we entered my CEO noted "nice place" which was a great start, and it got better. Service was excellent -- wonderful menu and wine list but no pretension, and the staff knew how to come forward when needed and fade into the background the rest of the time. Food and ambience was outstanding.

  • Surprise Charges on Bill
    captainbtjVIP
    Dined on 2/15/2014
I am giving this restaurant a "1" rating for one reason: We were charged an extra $10 for an "entree sized" secondi. I understand that at many Italian restaurants, secondi / pasta servings are smaller than a typical entree. However, the waiter did not mention there would be an additional fee when I ordered the pasta as my entree. Then we received the bill, which had an additoinal $10 fee. The menu is misleading, and I believe the management should clear this up, as it's an easy fix -- just add an additional price next to the secondi item (e.g., "$21 / $31"). I never like to see surprises on my bill, and this is no exception.

The food was pretty good but not great and the service was really marginal across the board. Apathetic and inattentive wait staff. Have had better experiences at the adjacent two restaurants at Aria. There are too many very good Italian dining options on the strip to justify the lack of service here. Will go elsewhere for Italian next time in town.

Rivalling the food was the service. I cannot say how impressed my clients and I were with the staff at Sirio - they made great suggestions for pairings and were the key to having the best meal combinations for the night. I highly recommend Sirio to nayone who will be in Las Vegas.

I was quite underwhelmed by Sirio at Aria -- which surprised me, given that the restaurant appeared to be rather well frequented, and given my outstanding experiences at other Aria restaurants. The food at Sirio was nothing out of the ordinary, and certainly not up to par with many of the other restaurants in Las Vegas. My party was most disappointed, however, by the service. The server made very scant appearances at our table and not once followed up with us. He forgot one of the appetizers and left the entire party waiting. We were then left to our own devices for 45 minutes, waiting for our entrees. Silverware and food was tossed on our table as if we were eating an impromptu, uninvited meal in a back alley kitchen.

Sirio is a wonderful Italian restaurant in the Aria resort/casino. Food was great — the server was not Italian, sort of a fish out of water, but we warmed u to him as the night progressed. We had six at our table which was a round a could converse easily. We shared, compared and no one despaired — all was wonderful, especially the desserts. The cannoli was the best ever.

While filling out my online reservation request I asked the restaurant if they were able to accommodate my son's severe food allergies. I also listed 6 or 7 menu items to assist them in answering. Not a single response received. When we showed up a few weeks later I mentioned this and was told by our waitress that they only read the comments/questions on the day of the reservation. Strike #1. Then the waitress proceeded to tell me that it didn't matter because they just hired a new chef and he changed the menu entirely. None of the 6 or 7 menu items that I previously mentioned to my now disappointed son were available on the new menu. Strike #2. Running out of room with so much more to say! $9 screw-top plastic bottle of water... STRIKE #3!
