    Excellent dining experience from moment walked in and greeted by shequia (sp), having a manhattan at bar prepared by Wendy, being introduced to Jeff, the manager and then being waited by the best- Alyssa. Always top notch service and great tasting food. Leivine and phoenix and Candace also notable mentions for their hospitality

    Excellent service for my first time visiting this restaurant. Our server was great and friendly. The food was delicious (filets were seasoned and cooked perfectly) . It's a little crowded sitting upstairs (near the bar area) but we made do. We didn't get it, but I heard the 24 layer chocolate cake is amazing. Next time.

    Excellent steakhouse in midtown Manhattan. The food was fantastic with classy service. We enjoyed our salad, steaks - filet and strip- and the potatoes. Ended with the 24-layer choco cake which was very good. It’s enough for 4-5 people. I liked Strip House more than the more expensive steakhouses we attended in the past.

    We had a dinner for our family plus one friend of one of our kids. service and food were both fantastic and price - knowing that it is a steakhouse , not cheap but ok ! I have been to the place a dozen times over the years and I think it is better now than it has ever been!

    We dined here before an 8pm show and had a lovely experience. An upstairs booth with a wonderful server. The French Kiss cocktail and Manhattan were a perfect start. We chose a Bibb salad (generous enough for 2) and the unbelievably delicious gnocchi (that is actually one of their sides) as our appetizers. Then their wedge salad as my dinner, the bone-in rib eye as his and the broccoli and a baked potato to share. We are craving a return very soon!

    I wanted to treat myself to some fine dining for my birthday. After researching, I decide to go to Strip House Steakhouse. I love a good steak and this restaurant was within walking distance from my hotel while visiting NYC. I made a reservation that same day, 8:15 on July 4th. It was not crowded, which is what I prefer.  The restaurant had nice aesthetics and was dimly lit for an intimate experience. I ordered a cocktail; the passionfruit margarita. It was very good. I opted not to get any bread because I didn’t want anything to ruin what was to come. Knowing me, I would have gotten full off the bread. For my appetizer, I ordered the roasted bacon. For my entrée, I ordered the dry aged New York strip medium and the truffle creamed spinach. I was undecided between the goose fat potatoes and strip house potatoes. At the waitress recommendation, went with the latter. For dessert, of course I went with the signature 24-layer chocolate cake. I was so full and very satisfied, I had it boxed up to go. I haven’t eaten any yet, but what’s not to like about chocolate cake. The waitress planned to present the cake with a candle but I was just too full. She was sweet enough to placed the candle in the to-go bag. Bacon: I enjoyed it, but honestly, it reminded me of the steak bacon from the Original Pancake House, but with sauce. New York Strip: Loved it. She let me know in advance that there was a peppercorn crust. Again, loved it. Creamed spinach: I’m not big on creamed spinach, but with it being a popular menu item, I had to try it. 5 Stars Potatoes: So good. Think twice baked potato without the peel. I must say the experience was a great one and the food was excellent. The portions made the price worth it. I would definitely return.
