Carte Blanche is the new leader of Montreal’s Bistronomie trend and is now a BRING YOUR OWN WINE establishment.
Lunch is bistro style with a pre-fixed menu at unbeatable value. The chef and owner (elected 2010 Chef of the Year by the Society of Chefs) will welcome you in the evening with a more elaborate selection of fine cuisine.
All is served in a contemporary decor (finalist at the 2006 Creativity Montreal Design contest) and relaxing atmosphere.
Carte Blanche is ideal for romantic diners as well as business meetings. The restaurant can also be reserved for cocktails, happenings, group lunch or dinner.

We were seated 20 minutes after our reservation. Our waiter did not make eye contact, address us, or give us cups of water until 40 minutes after we sat down. We had to beg for bread. When our food finally came, they served us cold, supermarket quality foie gras and a single ravioli for appetizers. The entrees were equally unimpressive. I had never had a microwaved duck breast before and god help me, I never will again. The poor people sitting next to us had just as awful an experience. When our dessert finally came I gave it to them—they were so hungry after waiting for an hour (like we had) that they ate off a strangers plate. I have had better service at a food truck.

Trop de monde pour la capacité. Bavette pas assez cuite et difficile à couper. Entrée ordinaire. Bruit extrême. Je ne répéterai pas mon expérience.

M. Ouellet, Voici nos réponses sur 500 mots seulement : vous êtes venu alors que les partys de Noel commençaient. Pendant 1 mois, l'atmosphère est très différente, effervescente et évidemment bruyante. Ceci est culturel et arrive chaque année. Un groupe réservé à 20 passe à 30...bref, c'est ça la restauration. Il reste cependant 11 mois afin que vous puissiez apprécier une atmosphère calme. Pour la bavette, rien de plus facile que de parler à votre serveur pour un ajustement de cuisson.
