   Our dinner was excellent! The macaroni and cheese is the BEST that the five of us have ever had. The pulled pork, fried chicken, catfish and pork chop were all excellent. We also had the black-eyed pea fritters that were out of this world. The hostess and wait staff were friendly and helpful. The gin and jam is a must-have cocktail! Wonderful experience and we can’t wait to eat here again!

   The food and the space were great. The server was nice but a bit unengaged and distant. When we asked about day specials she said there wasn't any but when we asked about the soup of the day she copped a bit of a defensive attitude saying that it wasn't a 'special'. Then she forgot to bring out bread and never checked back with us, at all; the lack of attention to us became a bit of a joke and so the table next to us ended up sharing their cornbread with us, which was sweet but unusual and shouldn't have been necessary. Don't get me wrong, she was very nice, but overall, comically disengaged. I'd still recommend it as the food and space were fantastic and I could tell other servers were attentive. Enjoy!

   The pork sandwich was heavy on bread and light on meat. Beet salad and cornbread very tasty. Service awesome.

   Despite my friends being delayed due to unforeseen traffic, the hostess seated me at my table to wait. The server was knowledgeable and attentive. As always, the food was delicious. Brussel sprouts, fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and the winter risotto....all well prepared and so yummy. It’s why I come back any time I am in the city.

   Fried chicken dinner and pulled pork sandwich received rave reviews from my kids; my beet salad with goat cheese croquettes was absolutely delicious, however, the Spring risotto was a disappointment (extremely salty). They likely would have offered me something else had I asked, but vegetarian main dishes are limited so I didn't send it bake. Other positives: we had reservations and were seated on time; service was fast and server attempted to get to know us by making small talk, which was nice. Overall very good meal and experience.

   Starts with service and it was excellent. The cocktails were fantastic, highly suggest the Gin & Jam!!! The menu isn't big but everything is super yummy and would recommend it to everyone and will definitely be back!

   I loved this restaurant, but was not happy with OpenTable and my attempt to make a reservation for one. Realizing it was Valentine's Day and I was dining solo, I tried to book my table for one at 5pm. OpenTable told me that time was booked. But when I changed my reservation to two people, it worked. :( The hostess was super gracious about this and even brought me a cupcake to celebrate on my own. Food was amazing.

    Delicious food at a good range of portion sizes as we didn’t want a massive meal. Staff were very friendly.
