Tacos and tequila rule at Vamos and are complemented by intriguing contemporary renditions of other Mexican staples. All presented in a colorful industrial loft with a south-of-the-border sensibility setting. The taco selection is one of the city's largest with 11 voluptuous offerings, each made to order by in the always bustling open kitchen that welcomes the mixing-and-matching of ingredients to personalize taco choices. For tequila enthusiasts there are 100 to choose from.

The large square bar that greets guests at the front of the restaurant generate congenial gatherings as do the dining room's three congenial communal tables that can seat up to 30. More intimate meals are equally well accommodated by inviting banquettes and seductive lighting.

When we arrived for our reservation it was completely closed down!!! We booked through Open Table earlier in the day- were required to enter a credit card to make the reservation as well, which was for us and some friends who were visiting from Singapore- when we arrived it was completely dark! Our friends had taken a taxi from their hotel to meet us- so that was a waste of time and money for them too. Luckily the Thai place across the street was open and turned out to be pretty good.

I had my birthday dinner here with a large party. Overall, I had a nice experience. I loved the fun and lively atmosphere, the food was delicious (everyone seemed to love what they ordered). For such a big party, the service was good but not outstanding. We did a lot of waiting around, for example, at the end of the meal for the bill to be picked up. However, I really appreciated the free tequila shots for the table because it was my birthday! Also they sang happy birthday to me with a delicious cake which was nice. The margarita on the rock pitchers, although strong, seemed to be on the high end price wise. Otherwise, everything else was great and we had a fun and memorable time. Thank you!!

Food was excellent but the noise was too much . Had to shout to be heard. Service uninterested, never asked if we wanted another drink or if food was ok. Had to wait quite a while to get the check

The food was really yummy! The service was exceptional. They were able to accommodate a large crowd for my daughter’s birthday.

The atmosphere was very loud and uncomfortable. The food just wasn’t worth the prices, I was disappointed with our experience all around. I would not recommend this place to a friend to have dinner - maybe a fine place for getting drinks after work, but I doubt I’ll be back.
